Very interesting and quick overview of Soviet animation from fairy tales and rotoscoping to surreal experiments and adult topics #GameArt #ArtDirection

The channel has similar overview of movies and cartoons from various cultures. Check it out if you wanted to see the world wider than just landmarks.

This video looks offtopic, but it's very important example for anyone who want to be a manager, producer, etc:

– Let workers do their job,
– Learn how to ask them and listen to them
– Don't jump into micro management

Yes, each team under your command need a solid vision and clear orders, but they don't need it all the time, like you wish to overwrite their minds with yours. Otherwise, you will instantly become the antagonist, not the leading figure.

Since I'm a big fan of handhelds (Win Max 2020 on the photo, but I also have Win Max 2), check out how GPD decided to get back to their origins and made a smaller device, that is still equally powerful:

Ryzen 7840U with RDNA 3 graphics, 120Hz FHD screen, up to 64GB 7500MHz RAM, up to 2TB of PCIE4 SSD (upgradable to 4 easily), hall sensor sticks, analog triggers, USB 4 and OcuLink for eGPU. All of that in ~500 grams.

There are no negative reviews on Starfield and the overall score is 88. The main criticism is for repetitive activities and mediocre main story, which is more like onboarding for the sandbox.

If you expected something in between Skyrim and No Man's Sky, you'll get it. Just don't wait for a memorable story, like Mass Effect or The Outer Worlds. And get ready to learn some tools, cause Bethesda decided to be short on tutorial sections and leave it for the player to try and learn.

Saints Row developer Volition has been shut down and Gearbox Publishing is facing significant layoffs, despite recent success of Remnant II.

Volition has been in business for 30 years, their Red Faction and Saints Row games were legendary, but the recent reboot of the SR franchise was a complete commercial failure.

It was built around careless characters and awkward dialogues, combined with poor performance and boring gameplay activities. Even ones who liked it were barely able to tell friends what was good.

After Embracer Group broken investment deal (this spring), it was only a matter of time for the studio to be closed.

For me, Starfield experience ended up with a refund request. The more you go, the more broken it feels.

The first couple of moons are nice, space is awkward, and cities are horribly bad.

A few years ago one small indie team managed to make High on Life with amazing cities you can travel between for a fraction of the cost. Memorable characters, exciting moments, and true science fiction moments were everywhere.

Same with The Outer Worlds – it was memorable, has Futurama vibes, and has a valuable, sarcastic, and tragic plot. Even beasts are something that you will remember for years and the arsenal was great.

Bethesda failed on that – no science fiction, no space sim, no role-playing, but rather poorly stitched sandbox features.

For those who want to enjoy good space science fiction, I recommend trying The Outer Worlds instead of Starfield:

It has characters that make sense, plot you really care about, and the world with level design in mind... and fully detailed maps of locations.

If you prefer more action than taking, just try High on Life, from the creator of Rick and Morty. It's amazing.

Don't waste your time on Starfield, it's a prototype that will take years to fix (if they will agree to fix it).
