#Apple Arcade looked very questionable since launch and now it's getting even worse: projects are being cancelled and payments are getting lower and lower every month.

#Apple is under investigation for violating European regulations and will face a fine up to $38B.
Among other rules, companies now have to ALLOW USERS to install custom apps and remove the default ones.
Apple instead allowed other companies to add their own stores but they still have to pay huge onboarding fees and certain revenue shares. European authorities assumed these rules are absolutely not what the law requires. They launched an investigation that will end in Spring of 2025.
For the first violation the fine is up to 10% of revenue or $38B, but it will double for the second one and may lead to other limitations.

Meanwhile high-end games on iOS failed miserably. None of them break even. Some say the issue is that only the flagship devices were able to launch them, but in my opinion the issue lies deeper:
None of them worked well. Like not even close to being properly optimized, improved for smaller screens, etc. And input delay was sometimes up to several seconds.
Death Stranding was probably the best of all in terms of the performance and inputs, but still it was only playable on MacBook, not iPhone.

Finally: class action lawsuit against #Intel has been launched due to their very awkward statements regarding Gen 13 and 14 CPUs... This and the recent news about firing 15% of workforce led to 28% market capitalization loss in one day. https://abingtonlaw.com/classβ¦
Class action lawsuits are very often a good thing for customers:
In 2022, Apple agreed to pay a $50 million dollar settlement for certain eligible 2015-2019 MacBook owners who experienced problems with their butterfly keyboards. The claims process opened in late 2022, and the settlement got final approval last May. Starting today, eligible MacBook owners are finally receiving their payouts (up to $395 per person).
Butterfly was the technology to make keyboards exceptionally thin but also fragile β some keys may stop working after a few weeks of careful usage. Apple stopped using them in 2019, but for the first few years of complaints folks from Cupertino blamed users and rejected warranty requests.

Apple iPhone 16 is gonna be shown today. Last year #Apple tried to make "iPhone for games", sponsored AAA ports, and the idea failed. Will there be any game-related news this time? Will see in a few minutes!

Fake Grand Theft Auto 5 passed Apple App Store review. Yep, someone really have had to read this description, at least two people played it for 40 minutes, and then approved it...
It's taken down already, but still: the fake was available since early September and was apparently released by German motion designer Bastian Schifter. Some people say, the link still works, but for us it's an infinite loading: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id6670371776

Oh, CNET is bullying Apple for believing their customers are "foolish people faking into their lives". Apple believed in that for decades, it just became oddly noticeable even for the most passionate fans. PlayStation when?
The narrator also mentions Steve Jobs words, that Apple was supposed to be for ones who think different and move humanity forward. It's now for folks, who don't think at all.
