Skull and Bones and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League both failed. Regarding SNB we have initial player count and for Justice League Warner Brothers reported the issue themselves.
Despite "free access" to SNB, only 850K players tried it (both free and paid). And even the most active players are spending 3-4 hours in it. Sales are 3-5 times lower than Sea of Thieves ones on release (and it was a very bad release by the way).
Suicide Squad has less than 1000 CCU after a couple of weeks. It was a commercial disappointment for Warner Brothers. Who might have guessed that service-based game no one asked for will be a failure?

This is why you need version control systems! Imagine the loss of the game by losing one instance of the source code...

Oddly enough, La Quimera, the game from Reburn (ex 4A Games staff) is delayed the same day it was supposed to be released. The initial reviews (and there are not many of them) called it a relic, like a bad game from 2008.
It brings nothing new to the table, nothing exciting in the gameplay, narrative, or visuals. And the overall quality is just bad β visual bugs, stiff controls, and so on. They messed up even with the most basic things β to open a menu the player has to use P-key on the keyboard and ESC does nothing.
And it loads up Ryzen 9 7950X3D to 100% all the time, all cores, regardless of the actual scene. And the performance is still not quite there β frame pacing can go nuts or the whole game gets locked at 30 FPS after 10 minutes of gameplay.

Marathon is not doing great: the close alpha test is almost as popular as Concord. People are invited in waves, there was a peak of ~7000 people, but then it quickly dropped to 1000, and at night time it dips as low as 58 players.
Seeing this, the speculated closure of Titanfall Extraction becomes more obvious β people are not into the concept and the success of Tarkov is rather an exemption.

Unfortunately, MindsEye, the first game from Build a rocket boy (founded by ex-Rockstar executive) has 17% of positive reviews on Steam.
UPD: a few hours later it's 30% positive with only 250 reviews in total and it peaked at 3200 concurrent players. What went wrong?
β’ Optimization is absent
β’ The game crashes all the time
β’ Visual artifacts
β’ Poor voice acting and writing
β’ Very bad shooting
β’ Feels cheaper than it has to be
β’ Much cheaper
