There's something unbelievable going on and all polls are nearly identical even among CoD fans:

No one gives a damn about the upcoming Black Ops, but people are generally hyped about Battlefield 6.

The open beta reached over 330K CCU and gained fairly positive feedback. Battlefield 6 is surprisingly fast, intense, and more focused on ground forces and tight combat.

The vehicles oriented maps are yet to be revealed. And some players believe it is intentionally competing against Call of Duty.

If you want to play BF6 now (and not wait for Open Open Beta), you can just launch your EA App, open Twitch, open ANY BF6 stream of a big streamer and get a key from his chat to activate in EA app.

Yes, it gives you early access for free.
Users also drop some extra they have.
Bots drop them every few minues.

Wait, is the game good?
Feels like BF4 + Insurgency Sandstorm!
(And I like it)

Oddly enough, BF6 campaign, according to insights and appeared footages, is not reaching the glory of the multiplayer:

It's stiff and rough, the NPCs are too scripted, the events are too narrow most of the time. And even a few epic moments that look good, are more like “as good as some multiplayer events can be”.

The team should've tried to make it more organic and natural, IMO. The stakes are too high for BF as a whole.

Firebreak? More like fired and broke: the new multiplayer game from Remedy struggles to find the audience.

One player decided to sleep on a bridge for a couple of days in The Elder Scrolls Online to find out if anyone will notice. And renamed himself into Sleeps-on-Bridges.

And oh, boi: people noticed!

He spent there OVER FIVE YEARS...
Developers made an NPC reference
And his mentions appeared in quests
Fans created a cult and a guild of him

Meanwhile, Arc Raiders, a paid extraction shooter by Embark Studio (ex-Dice team, created The Finals), is getting over 300K CCU on Steam!

Both gamers and critics are disappointed in Black Ops 7.

The campaign is messy surreal and pointless. It may find the audience later, same as it happened with Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare.

But the story is online only, which means, the campaign will only live while servers are up. The campaign doesn't even allow you to pause it, since it's technically a Warzone-like instance running, so escape just shows the menu, while the bots are still fighting.

And the multiplayer is just a digested mix of all previous games and has no personality. They are making it all look and feel like a reference to the series and not the new game in the series.

Tarkov is also not doing great on Steam... thanks to their launcher that simply doesn't work for like half of the people.

Even so, 20K CCU for a relatively niche game is OK. But not absolutely fine, since Duckov (a parody, dammit) has six times more.
