Today the use of PEDs has become very popular among women, whether for aesthetic, athletic or bodybuilding purposes among others, due to the physiology of women the substances and doses that they can use are very different from those of the men, I will try to explain in the simplest way possible how a woman should use PEDs to avoid the maximum number of possible side effects.


👨🏼‍🔬Side Effects

First, to say that most of the side effects have to do with the virilization of women 🧔🏼, but there may also be problems related to their fertility 👶🏼 and menstrual cycles as well as their resting heart rate and blood pressure, added to the rest of the general side effects of steroids (which will have to be avoided or mitigated in the same way that men do 👌🏼).


📕Requirements

Women will have to perform a full bloodwork before and after the cycle until their baseline values normalize 🔄.
They will have to keep an accurate record of their menstruation 🩸 (duration, amount, consistency, stains on underwear, absence of menstruation (amenorrhea).
Blood pressure will need to be measured periodically .
Heartbeats 💓 will have to be taken at rest.
Women do NOT have to do a post-cycle therapy and trying to do the same that a man would do would be equivalent to chemically castrating her (in any case Clomiphene could be used under the guidelines of an endocrinologist to try to restore the menstrual cycle).


💊PEDs

✔️SARMS (at large doses they lose their specificity, but with the guidelines given below the limit will not be exceeded).
✔️Oxandrolone.
✔️Nandrolone (I recommend using a short ester).
✔️Boldenone (combined with Dutasteride at 0.5mg daily).
✔️Oxymetholone.
✔️Methenolone.


📝Dose:

⚪️The dose that a man would use divided by 10 (very conservative and imprecise method).
⚪️1-3mg of active substance per KG of LBM per week (the most accurate method ✔️).

​​🔖 Top Testosterone Myths.

📣 Some say we’re living a testosterone epidemic. Whether be it recreational or medical use, the interest for the hormone has grown dramatically on the last few years. But what are the myths we hear about it most often?

Myth #1: Testosterone injections will give you liver cancer. Unlike most oral steroids, injectable testosterone isn’t 17-alpha alkylated, so it only passes your liver once and is very well tolerated.

Myth #2: TRT will make you sterile and will shrink your testicles. Well, there’s some truth to this one. Although generally temporary, testosterone shots will suppress your own production, while sperm count goes down to almost zero for most people. However, these side effects usually go away within a couple of weeks and can be alleviated with drugs such as Clomid and HCG.

Myth #3: TRT will make you grow breasts. While testosterone aromatizes into estrogen (and this can lead to an increase in breast size), only sensitive individuals will experience it, and it also depends on which form is being used, as longer esters tend to aromatize more. Also, there are inhibitors available to stop this process.

Myth #4: A high level of testosterone will make you a sex machine. Sure, more test you probably make you hornier, but won’t cure premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction or turn you into a better lover.

Myth #5: TRT will make you bald as an eagle. Yes, generally speaking, TRT will increase DHT levels which can lead to hair loss for genetically predisposed individuals. If you’re one of those, simply there isn’t much you can do aside from implants and sooner or later it will fall anyways.
There are other myths which include turning you into a raging behemoth that will destroy anything in your way, giving you all sorts of cancer and health problems, but these will be subject of another article.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock in the middle of some desert for the last couple of years, you probably know we’re living in a pandemic, so at the moment if you’re feeling sick, especially with COVID-19-like symptoms, it’s best for you and for whoever trains at your gym that you stay at home, but in normal times or if you have access to a home gym, here are a few facts to help you choose whether or not you should train while feeling sick:

It might help you get over a cold faster: training while sick helps flush useful nutrients through the body and aids in expelling toxins, so it will help you get back to normal faster;
You’ll probably feel stronger: while being counter-intuitive, during the early stages of a cold, while your throat is just feeling a little sore or your nose a little funny, your immune system will release antibodies. These antibodies together with the altered hormonal state will act as strength enhancers. You’ve probably experienced this before when you were not feeling too well but still went to the gym and in the end felt stronger for some reason;
Sitting around and feeling miserable will only get you further into the sickness cycle. It’s been proven that one’s psychological state can alter significantly how fast that person will heal from being sick back to normal. The feeling of accomplishing a workout even when sick can be helpful in getting healthy faster.

‼️ Of course, it all sounds great but keep in mind that training while sick is only recommended for mild symptoms. If you’re really not feeling well, go see a doctor and follow his instructions, which may include taking medication and resting. If that’s not the case, try going for a light walk or doing some basic bodyweight exercises. You’ll be back on your feet before you know it.

📝 Post-injection pain. Why it may occur and how to avoid it.

Post-injection pain, or PIP, generally speaking is the pain experienced after taking an intramuscular shot of a certain substance, in our case a mixture of a hormone salt, any concentration of solvent, preservatives/antiseptics, and a carrier. Most of the pain is caused when carrier and solvents are absorbed by the body and the crystals are left behind in the muscle pocket.

In this article, we’re going to go over the main causes for PIP:

How long the ester is: shorter esters (e.g., propionate or acetate) form harder, stronger crystals, with a melting point close to 100ºC, while longer esters often have a melting point closer to a human’s body temperature of around 30 to 40ºC, the exception being cypionate, a longer ester with higher melting point.

Concentration of hormone: for explanation purposes, let’s say it takes the body 24h to absorb 1ml of carrier oil + solvent + 50mg of testosterone propionate.

🛑 Impotence and libido loss are two of the most common adverse effects related to steroid use that most people would want to avoid. This is the result of a drug-induced hormonal imbalance, not a sign of masculine weakness.

👥 When it comes to the effect of these medicines on sexual function, not everyone will react the same way. Others are extremely susceptible to the effects of these medications and will have issues no matter what they do, developing full-fledged sexual dysfunction in only a few weeks, regardless of dose. 💧

🧍‍♂️If an individual is prone to sexual dysfunction as a result of steroid use, such adverse effects will often appear 5-6 weeks after starting treatment and will last as long as the offending chemical is used.

There are three therapeutic options for sexual dysfunction caused by the use of nandrolone or trenbolone.
1️⃣ Entirely stop taking the problematic medicine and wait for the symptoms to go away.
2️⃣ Experiment with the ratio of testosterone to nandrolone/trenbolone to see if it helps solving the problem.

💡Another cause of sexual dysfunction in steroid users is estrogen imbalance.⚖️ Too little or too much estrogen can cause the same problem. It's important to note that as with sexual dysfunction caused by nandrolone or trenbolone, not everyone responds the same to excessive or insufficient levels of estrogen.

🧬 DHT is a crucial male hormone for the development and maintenance of typical male traits and physiology, which includes sexual function. Under normal circumstances, the body generates DHT by converting a portion of freely circulating testosterone to dihydrotestosterone.🩹 As a result, if a person wants to maintain adequate DHT levels, he or she must include testosterone in their cycle.

🕳 The usage of 5-AR inhibitors is the final element we'll look at. When utilizing a 5-ARinhibitor, the chance of suffering sexual dysfunction is significant, depending on the dose used. The number of possible cycles is enormous, and an alternate technique should not be dismissed simply because it differs from the traditional style of cycling.
