Fun fact: CPU can't be bigger than a certain size due to physical limitations (of how far the signal can go safely).
But the GPU is very fragmented and parallel (up to tens of thousands of cores per die), so it can be enormous.
This is a 5090 PCB, that suggests that the chip itself will be humongous. It's bigger than the previous king of consumer GPUs (which was 2080 Ti).
And we can clearly see 16 spots for memory (16 x 2GB).

Steam published its Top Sellers list. There are tons of F2P games and the majority of projects that are selling well aren't from 2024.
It gives me both good and bad expectations: examples like Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky suggest that proper support can make exceptionally long sales even despite rough release. But without the initial spark it may become harder and harder to release any new games and compete with long-lasting projects.

It's mind-blowing that someone messed up with lighting on PC, then hardcoded it into cars, and then never fixed. A huge game that looked significantly worse on PC for this specific reason.
