Microsoft started to require some users to explain themselves while shutting down #OneDrive on their #Windows 11 machines.

The previous warning was only saying that files will no longer be able to synchronize. Probably this wasn't enough and people were mostly skipping it without reading and then complained about files loss.

Next step: five free closures, others for $4.99/month.

And #SteamDeck is now OLED and has 1TB version in its 2023 refresh. There's also 6nm APU instead of 7nm, but the tech is the same (ZEN2 CPU cores + RDNA2 GPU).

It's still far behind Asus, Lenovo, GPD, and other competitors using ZEN4 cores and Ryzen 7000 architecture this year. But Deck is still cheaper.

And older versions are gonna be available at a certain discount!

Ages ago I was working on a mobile game and one of the stages of map development and upgrades was to create blurry shots to check for visual clarity on hotspots.

Human eyes are not seeing the full resolution all the time and peripherical view has even worse level of details (but higher response rate), which makes it crucial to keep all possibilities clear for the player in every hotspot of the map.

Here the sandy surface is matching floors and serves as the guideline: players can easily follow those bright lines and spots to get into other hotspots. Shadows on the contrary suggest hiding spots or blockers of the path.
