It is an antiestrogen, included within the category of SERMs (selective estrogen receptor modulator), it exerts both an agonist and antagonist function on the receptor, activating and deactivating it.

❕It is a mixture of Enclomiphene (with antagonist ✖️ effects on the estrogen receptor) and Zuclomiphene (with agonist or activator ✔️ effects on the estrogen receptor).
❕When a PCT is performed, as it is an antiestrogen, it prevents the union of estrogens with estrogen receptors, alleviating or denying its effects at the hypothalamic and pituitary level 👌🏻.
❕It increases the production of gonadotropins and also the hormonal 🧬 production in the gonads.

Tamoxifen was first synthesized in 1962 by scientists at the British pharmaceutical company Imperial Chemical Industries PLC (now AstraZeneca).
It blocks estrogen by attaching to receptor sites in breast tissue and other tissues, like the liver.
It’s not an AI (Aromatase Inhibitor) so it will not lower concentration of estrogen in blood plasma.
It was first used to treat or prevent breast cancer in females, since breast cancer cells are very responsive to the hormone estrogen and is still used for that purpose, but gradually being replaced by AI, such as anastrozole and exemestane.

❕Half-life – 5 to 7 days
🔖 It was the first drug used in bodybuilding to prevent estrogen effects on the body during a steroid cycle, especially gynecomastia, but now it’s used mainly during PCT (Post Cycle Therapy) alongside clomiphene. Both have shown to work in synergy to increase testosterone natural production after a cycle.
Current choices for keeping estrogen sides under control during cycles are anastrozole, exemestane and letrozole, but a few bodybuilders still use tamoxifen for that purpose, which is now considered an old school approach.

Triptorelin is a peptide hormone that acts as an analog of GnRH (Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone). GnRH is a naturally occurring hormone produced in the hypothalamus which triggers the production of LH (Luteinizing Hormone) and FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone), which stimulate Testosterone production and spermatogenesis, respectively.
The way Triptorelin works is really simple: It replaces our naturally occurring GnRH production and stimulates the production of LH and FSH. This can be great if a low dose is used but can be devastating when overdosed.
