The Kiev regime launched an attack at about 11.40 Moscow time, targeting the city of Belgorod with “Tochka-O” ballistic missiles, Ukrainian “Olkha” launchers and “Vampere” Czech launchers, and 9 people were injured in the shelling, according to the emergency services in the province.

The Russian defenses managed to shoot down 6 Tochka-O missiles, 4 Vampire missiles and two Olkha missiles. Shrapnel from one of the dropped Tochka-O rockets destroyed a residential building in the city of Belgorod.

For his part, the governor of the Belgorod province, Vyacheslav Gladkov, confirmed the collapse of part of a residential building in the city, amid reports of dead and wounded.

The ambassador of special missions to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rodion Miroshnik, strongly condemned the missile attack on the western Russian city of Belgorod.

Mirosnik described the attack as a “clearly hysterical terrorist crime”, saying it was a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

He stressed that the perpetrators of this attack will be punished strictly in accordance with the law if they are arrested and forcefully if they remain alive.
