امروز بررسى ميكنيم كه چطور زمان هاى حال ساده و گذشته ساده با inversion تغيير ميكند:


✴️Present Simple:
(حال ساده)

📌‘I rarely go outside.’
تبديل ميشود به
‘Rarely do I go outside.’

📌'They don't ever know what to do'
تبديل ميشود به
'Never do they know what to do.'

📌'She almost never loses'
ميشود
'Scarcely does she lose.'


✴️Past Simple:
(گذشته ساده)

(توجه كنيد كه چطور فعل از حالت گذشته به مصدر تبديل ميشود:)

📌‘She seldom worked very hard.’
تبديل ميشود به
‘Seldom did she work very hard.’

📌'We never went to the shopping centre.'
تبديل ميشود به
'At no time did we go to the shopping centre.'

📌'He didn't react at all.'

1️⃣افعال مدال و قيدها

🔵ميتوانيم از افعال مدال (مثل will, might, may يا could) و قيدها (مثل probably و definitely) براى انكه نشان دهيم چقدر مطمئنيم استفاده كنيم:


✅زمانى كه خيلى مطمئنيم:

📌People will definitely work from home more in the future.
📌Robots definitely won't replace all human jobs.

✅مطمئنيم:

📌Donna will really enjoy this film. You won't regret it.

✅تقريبا مطمئنيم:

📌We'll probably finish the project by tomorrow.

✅مطمئن نيستيم

✳️وقتى مطمئن نيستيم همچنين ميتوانيم از may, could و may not استفاده كنيم.
ولى معمولا از could not براى صحبت از اينده استفاده نميكنيم.

🔵لیست قیدها / جز قیدی ها/گروه حرف اضافه ای که در ساختار تاکیدی منفی موجب معکوس شدگی می شوند.

❇️وارونگی یعنی برای تاکید بیشتر یک کار منفی لغت هایی اول جمله اورده می شود بعد فعل کمکی و بعد فاعل

🔺به ندرت گریه می کنم
✅Seldom does man recognize the blessing that he has in a lifetime
🔺به ندرت انسان قدر نعمت هایی که در زندگی دارد را می داند

🔵 اسم هاى غير قابل شمارش

بعضى اسم ها در زبان انگليسى غير قابل شمارش هستند. يعنى جمع بسته نميشوند. اسم هاى زير معروف ترين انها هستند:
advice, advertising, food, furniture, garbage, information, knowledge, money, shopping, time, traffic, travel.

✅با اسامى غير قابل شمارش بايد:
👇🏻
1️⃣مفرد اين كلمات را به كار بريد:

☑️food, information, money
a little / amount of / much / some:

📌How much money do you have?
📌The amount of traffic on the roads is increasing each year.

2️⃣فعل مفرد به كار بريد:

📌There was already a little furniture in the flat.


✅اگر اسم غير قابل شمارش باشد موارد زير را با ان نميتوان به كار برد:

1️⃣صورت جمع اين كلمات را نميتوان به كار برد:

❌advices, furnitures, garbages, informations, knowledges

2️⃣نميتوان از a / an استفاده كرد:

❌an advice, a knowledge, a garbage

3️⃣نميتوان از a few, many و number of استفاده كرد:

❌a few shopping, many traffic, the number of knowledge

4️⃣نميتوان از يك عدد استفاده كرد:

❌three furniture, four travels

5️⃣نميتوان از فعل جمع استفاده كرد:

❌There were a little furniture in the flat.


🛑 توجه: اگر ميخواهيد به اسامى غير قابل شمارش عدد اضافه كنيد ميتوانيد از عبارات زير استفاده كنيد:

🔵 پس از although و even though از فاعل و فعل استفاده ميكنيم. even though كمى قوى تر و موكدتر از although است.

✳️ Although/ even though:

📌Even though he spoke very quietly, l understood every word.

📌He didn't get the job, even though he had all the necessary qualifications.


✳️Though:

استفاده از though نيز مانند although است:

📌Though sarah wasn't keen on the film, she thought the music was beautiful.

همچنين though ميتواند در اخر عبارت دوم هم قرار بگيرد ولى مختص اسپيكينگ است:

Consider takes several different patterns.

🟠 Consider + that-clause
When you consider that she was very scared, her story is even more remarkable.

🟠 Consider + object + to be
They consider him to be the best chef in the country.

The ministry of trade considered the company to have the best vision for exports.

✳️ Regard
We often use regard in the phrase ‘regard as’: regard (+ object) + as + noun phrase or adjective phrase:

The United Nations regard human rights as their main priority.

Alexander Graham Bell is regarded as the inventor of the telephone.

Present continuous

از ساختار present continuous وقتى استفاده ميكنيم كه قرارى را از قبل تنظيم كرده ايم- معمولا با حداقل يك نفر ديگر، و زمان و مكان ان را هم ميدانيم.

📌I'm meeting Sue at 8 o'clock on Thursday.

📌We're having a party next Sunday. Would you like to come?

💡اغلب از ساختار present continuous براى پرسيدن درباره برنامه هاى اينده بقيه استفاده ميكنيم.

Comparing

✅از صفات تفضيلى براى مقايسه بين دو چيز ميتوان استفاده كرد. براى مثال:

📌Sam is taller than sara.
📌You're more patient than I am.
📌Her first book is less interesting than her second.


✅ميتوانيم از as … as با صفات استفاده كنيم تا بگوييم دو چيز مشابه هستند. يا از not as … as استفاده كنيم براى انكه بگوييم دو چيز مشابه نيستند و يكى كمتر از ديگريست.

📌It's not as windy as yesterday.


✅همچنين ميتوان اين عبارات را به كار برد:
different from, similar to و the same as.

✳️برای شرط گذاشتن به جز if چه راه‌هایی داریم؟

📍 راه‌های دیگه‌ای هم برای شرط گذاشتن در انگلیسی هست:

✍🏻Unless: You can’t come in unless you have a ticket. = If you don’t have a ticket, you can’t come in. / You can’t come in if you don’t have a ticket.

✍🏻On condition that: You can borrow the bike on condition that you return it by five o’clock. = If you return the bike by five o’clock, you can borrow it. / You can borrow the bike if you return it by five o’clock.
❇️ این on condition that از همه‌ی جایگزین‌های if و از خود if رسمی‌تره.

✍🏻As long as: You can stay as long as you don’t mind sleeping on the sofa. = If you don’t mind sleeping on the sofa, you can stay. You can stay if you don’t mind sleeping on the sofa.
❇️ اصطلاح مشابهی هم داریم: so long as که معنیش عین همینه ولی رسمی‌تره

✍🏻In case of: In case of fire, dial 911. = If there’s a fire, dial 911. / Dial 911 if there’s a fire.

✍🏻Providing/provided: Providing/Provided (that) you don’t mind cats, you can stay with us.

✍🏻Supposing/suppose/what if: Supposing/Suppose/What if he doesn’t turn up, what shall we do then?
❇️این سه مورد آخر (supposing/suppose/what if) بیش‌تر در محاوره و انگلیسی غیررسمی کاربرد دارند.

🔵 دو نکته‌ی بسیار مهم در مورد neither:

📍 بعد از neither of از فاعل جمع و فعل مفرد استفاده می‌شود:
❇️ Neither of my daughters looks like me.
هیچ‌کدام از دخترانم شبیه من نیستند.

❇️ Neither of the students has been to Europe.



📍در این ساختار، مورد دوم (یعنی Y) فعل را تعیین می‌کند؛ یعنی اگر Y جمع باشد، فعل بصورت جمع و اگر Y مفرد باشد، فعل بصورت مفرد بکار می‌رود:
🌟 Neither X nor Y + verb

1. Neither my friends nor my brother knows the answer.
نه دوستانم و نه برادرم جواب را نمی‌دانند.

📍Such and So

Such قبل از اسم به‌کار می‌رود (چه با صفت، چه بدون صفت).
So قبل از صفت به‌کار می‌رود (بدون اسم).

I’ve never met such a delightful person.
I’ve never met anyone who was so delightful.

🔵اگر اسم حرف تعریف مشخص، صفت ملکی، یا صفت اشاره داشته باشد، نمی‌توان از such استفاده کرد. در این شرایط استفاده از so هم جایز نیست.

یک ساختار خاص با so وجود دارد، به این صورت:
So + adjective + a(n) + noun
I had never met so gentle a person.
این ساختار بیشتر در متون ادبی استفاده می‌شود.

✳️عبارت‌های شامل so و such را می‌توان با that ادامه داد:
It was so cold that we had to stop the game.
She made such a good meal that we all ate too much.

❇️بعد از so می‌توان از adjective + as + to-infinitive استفاده کرد. توجه کنید که این ساختار رسمی است و در مکالمات معمولی استفاده نمی‌شود.

در كلازهاى non-defining relative هم از who, which و whose استفاده ميكنيم. Which براى صحبت از چيزها، who براى صحبت از اشخاص و whose براى صحبت از مالكيتى كه كسى يا چيزى دارد.

براى مثال:

📌Yesterday I met my new boss, who was very nice.

📌The house, which is very big, is also very cold!

📌My next-door neighbour, whose children go to school with ours, has just bought a new car.

📌After the port there is a row of fisherman's houses, whose lights can be seen from across the bay.

🔵 Too many
در فارسی گاهی وقتی اسم را جمع می‌بندیم منظورمان فقط جمع بستن آن نیست،‌ نشان دادن کثرت و فراوانی است.

اجرها باشدت ای خسرو شیرن‌حرکات
گر نگاهی سوی فرهاد دل‌افتاده کنی

نکته‌ها رفت و شکایت کس نکرد
جانب حرمت فرونگذاشتیم

✳️ به همین دلیل، در ترجمه از انگلیسی همیشه نیازی نیست که عبارت too many را به فارسی بیاوریم. کافی است اسم پس از آن را جمع ببندیم. پس:

I have many questions to ask
سؤالات زیادی دارم بپرسم
I have too many questions to ask
سؤال‌ها دارم بپرسم

در شعر زیر، مترجم انگلیسی‌ شعر مولوی «سال‌ها» را too many years ترجمه کرده‌است:

از بهاران کی شود سرسبز سنگ
خاک شو تا گل برویی رنگ‌رنگ
سال‌ها تو سنگ بودی دل‌خراش
آزمون را یک زمانی خاک باش

سال‌ها too many years

سال‌ها تو سنگ بودی
You've been stony for too many years

منظور مولوی از «سال‌ها» اینجا همان too many years یا سال‌های بسیار زیاد است، نه فقط جمع سال.

سال‌ها تو سنگ بودی دل‌خراش =
You have been stony for too many years.

استفاده از زمان حال براى تعريف داستان هاى گذشته باعث ميشود داستان براى شنونده ملموس تر و هيجان انگيزتر بنظر برسد.

2️⃣ تيترهاى روزنامه ها

خبرنگاران معمولا در روزنامه ها به جاى استفاده از زمان گذشته از زمان حال استفاده ميكنند تا داستان هاى روزنامه بنظر تازه تر، هيجان انگيزتر و فورى تر بيايند.

📌Man dies in forest fire.


3️⃣ با كلمات hear, tell, gather, say

اين كار باعث ميشود بيشتر از انكه جمله يك واقعيت باشد، روى اينكه يك اطلاعات است تأكيد كند. مثل:

📌I hear you're getting married!

📌She says she didn't like the present!


4️⃣ براى جك گفتن

استفاده از زمان حال در جك ها باعث ميشود جك جالب تر و نمايشى تر بنظر برسد. (حتى اگر خيلى هم خنده دار نباشد!)مثل:

📌A man walks into a bar...
(يه مَردِ ميره تو بار....)
