Roadblocks in Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak: Hunan Province blocks all the roads avoiding accesses from Hubei 1/3

Editor’s Note: Hunan, the Province next to Hubei Province, its government decides to block all the roads connecting to that new Coronavirus disaster area. From the pictures, the blockades are not only covering the main roads or control points, but even more on those pathways. This is well understandable that, in China, everyone is good at playing games with shortcuts to bypass genuine channel. That’s why, in government perspective, the best way preventing entry of the virus is to eliminate every single possible access. Wellbeing of or curing Hubei / Wuhan people is never a consideration.

Hubei visitors are said to have spat in Macau hotel rooms and floors to take revenge on being discriminated

Editor’s note: The Macau Government is tracking Hubei visitors who are now in Macau, and enforced the Hubei visitors to stay in detention camp even if they do not have pneumonia symptoms; or let them return to Mainland China by themselves. With effect from 27 Jan, any visitors from Hubei or non-Macau residents who have visited Hubei within 14 days have to provide medication proof to ensure that they are not infected with Wuhan coronavirus.

(28 Jan) (Image)
1. Understood.
2. The Venetian #Macau colleagues claimed that they are checking in the hotel to see if there are any visitors from Hubei staying. When they found that there was a group of #Hubei visitors in the hotel and asked them to leave, those Hubei guys spat in Room 217! It is insane!
3. It sucks!
4. StarWorld Hotel CCTV showed that some customers intended to take lift and stopped by every floor of the hotel and spat on the floor because they thought that they have been discriminated

Highly Taiwan Taste, 2hrs

At night I walked to the nearest supermarket.

Once I entered, I saw two ladies with rural accent swiped all masks (of all style and price), and wrote a nearly 7,000-dollar invoice. They then discussed with a non-local driver about driving to the next stop.

Then I knew they were from Hebei, China. They could no longer buy any mask in the mainland. They joined a tour group to stay at around Ankeng, Xindian, and pretending to be sick and staying behind for a day. They took a cab, and went all the way since 3pm to Yangmingshan. They had spent nearly 400,000 New Taiwan Dollars (13,300 U.S. Dollars) on the tab.

I asked them whether they could use them all as they had bought so many. They said they would resell, pointing out that masks made in Taiwan could surely make 2 to 3 times of profit.

“Wuhan pneumonia” A clash in Nagoya airport in Japan! 70 Shanghaineses blocked 19 Wuhan people boarding

Because Wuhan is the original place of the pneumonia virus, Hubei Wuhan people are blacklisted by the whole China. “Civil war” of mainlanders was extended to Nagoya, Japan. On the third day of the Chinese Lunar New Year (27 Jan), 70 Shanghainses refused to fly back to Shanghai with 19 Wuhan people, alarming police in Japan and the Chinse consulate in Nagoya, Japan. The flight finally could take off after the clash lasted for 5 hours. All 19 Wuhan people were quarantined after they arrived Shanghai Pudong airport. More than 70 Shanghaineses were success in this stand. They could change to different airlines without any surcharge and receive accommodation fee.

At 9:25pm of 27 Jan morning, the flight of the China Southern Airlines, CZ380, was scheduled to Shanghai. After check-in, a Shanghai auntie found some passengers were chatting in Wuhan dialect and they were taking medicine for flu. After she found the situation of enemies, she told her fellows immediately. Shanghainese passengers rushed to the check-in counter and spoke to a ground crew, “These Wuhan people have fever now. Can’t let them board.”

Wuhan passengers insisted that they didn’t have problem. The fight was heated up quickly and more people participated. A Shanghainese said, “ If Wuhan people are allowed to board, we will reject to board!” Both parties locked in stalemate. 19 Wuha people have boarded. Someone said, “You don’t board, I board!”

Then Shanghaineses called to Shanghai airport and different departments of government and reported. They urged authorities should have an action firmly to reject Wuhan people to go to Shanghai. And they requested to check body temperature of Wuhan passengers in Nagoya airport. As a result, one of Wuhan passengers was found to have fever at 37.1℃. The China Southern Airlines suspended that flight. However, fever of that passenger was gone later. Therefore, quarantine officer let him board finally. The flight took off at 2:30pm of the local time. There were 100 passengers in the plane originally. After negotiation, 70 Shanghainese could change to other airlines and 19 Wuhan people were quarantined immediately after arriving at Shanghai.

The National Health Commission of Shanghai confirmed that 27 passengers were in the flight of CZ380. 19 people of them have been Wuhai in 14 days. 19 people were sent to designated place for quarantine centrally. And tests have been done. Results of the first test were negative for all.

Possibly symptoms of infected patients

Mr Luke, I want to tell you about someone I know who was infected by Wuhan Coronavirus. It is really scary.

My colleague was a 27 years old healthy man. I’ve never quite seen him feeling unwell. He was from Huanggang, Hubei province.

On 22 Jan, he went home for Chinese New Year by train. He transitted at Wuhan station to Huanggang. I assume he should not have left home after he arrived, and he had his mask on. I am a fan of your programme, therefore I reminded him about wearing a mask. Although I am not sure if he paid much attention. At that time, the government was not particularly keen on the issue.

I tried to ring him on the 27 Jan. However, his parents answered and informed me that he has passed already away. He did not show any symptoms with no fever and only mild coughing. He was sent to the ICU straight after he was admitted to the hospital. Sadly, he passed away on the 26 Jan at night. It only lasted for 4 days! There was not even any incubation period.

He was the only son of his family and his family is now in deep sorrow.

A black hole above Hubei

GreenPlumCooksPumpkin 31 Jan, 10:42
Protective equipments aren’t available on the market across the country, as all factories are speeding up manufacturing production for Hubei. They aren’t available around the world, too, as ethnic Chinese have purchased them all to deliver to Hubei. But medical staff in Hubei don’t have protective equipments, too, as well as medical staff across China. Is there a black hole above Hubei?

This is also the biggest question I have as I read the news these few days. On the one hand, the frontline staff have run out of supplies. On the other hand, there is this encouraging news that generous help is coming from everywhere. But where are the promised supplies?

>BlackLinePrincess
This is no different from the vegetables incident in Shouguang. The Shandong province says the vegetables have been delivered, but Hubei says they haven’t been received. It is a mystery to where they have gone. Of course, we all know where they have been sent to now. So, if the Hubei government doesn’t say to where the other supplies have gone, there is no point for us in asking.

Hubei is set to put all confirmed patients in quarantined centres
No medics, medicine nor equipment in hospitals
Patient's family: person gets worse after admitted to hospital

(11 Feb) Wuhan government said on 2 Feb that all patients who were suspected or confirmed to have novel coronavirus infection would be sent to centralised quarantine for treatments. On Monday night, the city's government said that more than 99% of the population had undertaken a diagnostic test. All suspected cases would be examined within two days.

Even though the government had built 11 hospitals in three days and increased more than 10,000 beds, we talked to a few suspected patients and they said they could not get a bed in a hospital. Even if they managed to do so they might not be able to receive proper care.

Last Sunday morning, Wuhan citizen Wang Sha and the family members of some patients went to No. 2 WISCO Hospital to bring medicine for the sick, but they were stopped right at the entrance by security guards. Wang's mother was confirmed with the virus, and sent to the hospital in the early morning of Saturday. The reason why Wang and others were so anxious was that they knew from the patients that the hospital was not equipped.

"My mother has called me again and again starting from 9 a.m. yesterday. She said there were no medics, no water and no medicine in the hospital. She was unwell but she couldn't find a doctor. She had difficulty to breathe that night and was gasping severely. There was no oxygen mask. Since she was sent there, not a single medic has entered her room to care for her."

Wang said that many patients from that hospital have told their families about this lack of care. They have formed a group on Weixin (similar to Whatsapp) to exchange information. There was a patient who suffered significant drop in blood oxygen level, but the hospital seemed to be doing nothing. People were not allowed to provide supplies to the hospital either.

"This is probably a hard order made by the central government, which commands that all newly confirmed patients to be put in these hospitals. It's true that they are staying in hospitals, but the problem isn't solved at all. Speaking from my own feelings, I think now it's like locking people up and keeping them there."

Hubei Film Studio director family almost all gone

(16 Feb) Hubei Film Studio director #Chang Kai died on 14 Feb from WARS. His father passed away on 27 Jan and his mother, on 2 Feb. Chang Kai's sister and Chang Kai both passed on the 14 Feb. Currently, his wife is in intensive care. Only his son was spared as he studied abroad.

Image content(Left one):
Director Chang Kai‘s Last Words

Following the decree, on New Year's Eve, our banquet at the luxury hotel was cancelled. I was, then, in charge of cooking and enjoyed our meal with my parents and wife.

We were unaware of the incoming nightmares. On New Year's Day, my father had a fever, started coughing and had difficulty breathing. We went to multiple hospitals, requesting treatment; no beds were available to take him in. Disappointed, we went home to fend for ourselves, demonstrating filial piety before his deathbed and counting down his days. Our mother became mentally and physically exhausted. Her immune system shut down. She eventually followed our father.

Several days of tending to my parents on their deathbeds permitted the ruthless coronavirus to devour my wife's and my bodies. I went to various hospitals to beg for a bed but because of my insignificant social status, my words carried little weight. The scarcity of beds deprived my opportunity for treatment. With my dying breath, I tell my relatives, friends, and son who is currently in the UK: Throughout my life, I have fulfilled my role as a son, father, and husband as honestly as I could be! To those I love and those who love me, farewell!

Most residents in Wuhan and Hubei province are unsatisfied with the local government as they reacted inappropriately towards the disease and further worsened the situation. Recently, a Wuhan netizen posted a declaration for the independence of Wuhan, Hubei and announced that the interim government of Wuhan, which is organized by them, has been established. At last, she restated the aim of this declaration and why they should try to change the current government. The five demands are:

2. Hold the officials who concealed information about the disease to account according to the law.
3. Allow freedom of speech. Stop deleting people’s posts, banning and suspending accounts.
4. Lift the ban on rescue. There must not be monopolies controlling charity resources.
5. Modify the constitution and the president should be democratically elected.

Wuhan interim government: Hubei declaration of independence (draft for asking opinions)
2nd February 2020 (be called for short: the 20200202 declarations)

// Mr. Chow Sin Wong publicly admitted that regarding the outbreak of the new coronavirus disease, ”as a local government”, he could only disclose information after he got reports about it and was authorized to do so. On the 28th of January, the general secretary of the Communist Party of China, Mr. Xi Jin Ping, said, “I have always been directing the control and prevention work of the plague myself and deploying the work myself.”

//the original government under the single-party system absolutely wouldn’t accept these five demands, like the Hong Kong government which still refused to consider the five demands suggested by the Hong Kong citizens.

Xi Jinping revealed that he knew about epidemic situation and analysis on 7 Jan

(15 Feb) The Chinese Communist Party ’s media, Qiushi, published the full text of the Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping’s response to the outbreak on 3 Feb at the Politburo Standing Committee on 3 Feb. The article shows that Xi was aware of the epidemic in Wuhan on 7 Jan and held a meeting to request for prevention and control. However, at that time, Xinhua News Agency did not mention the epidemic situation in Wuhan at all, but quoting Xi’s speaking other current affairs throughout.

Some observers believe that the reasons that Communist Party’s journal revealing “Xi has known about the epidemic in Wuhan and made important instructions”  are not just for praising Xi, showing how wise and brave Xi is, and taking responsibility off of Xi, but also mean to blame the local authorities in Hubei and Wuhan. It seems to copy what happened the Qinling villa incident in Shaanxi.

Work Resumption Plan Cancelled in Hubei, Epidemic is Not Under Control in China

Just in one day the work resumption order issued for Qianjiang City, located in China's epicenter Hubei Pronvince, was withdrawn by the authorities.

The authorities did not directly explain the change of plan, but stressed that traffic restriction is still in effect. The order contrasts the saying that China has the Wuhan pneumonia epidemic under control.

Announces Zero New Cases in Hubei but Bans Hubei People Going to Beijing
Chinese citizens: Only Idiots believe it

(23 Mar) China reported zero local coronavirus cases for several consecutive days. Not only has it became the subject of official propaganda, it has also been praised by Tedros Adhanom, Director-General of WHO, as “an amazing achievement”. The sudden drop to zero is very suspicious. Even Hu XIjin, editor-in-chief of China’s mouthpiece, Global Times, expressed concern. Hu worries that there are still possibilities for new local cases, and he calls for local governments to avoid concealing cases in order to blame-shift.

Shortly after, an article named “The most unforgettable day”, written by a Hubei reporter, went viral. The article revealed that although the official number of new coronavirus cases in Wuhan was zero, there were still diagnosed patients in many places. The author described his personal experience on the 19 March, where he witnessed a diagnosed patient and his family being passed around like a ball, from hospital to hospital. At the same time, there were rumours that Tongji Hospital in Wuhan had over 100 newly diagnosed cases on the same day, but the District Mayor refused to report the cases. On the 22 March, the Wuhan Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters quickly denied the existence of the newly confirmed cases, although doubts remained.

China’s coronavirus conspiracy: Wuhan residents tell of chilling death toll clue

//“It can’t be right ... because the incinerators have been working round the clock, so how can so few people have died?”

//Some people estimate 46,800 COVID-19 victims will have been cremated, based on the capacity of the funeral homes.

//“The official number of deaths was 2,500 people ... but before the epidemic began, the city’s crematoriums typically cremated around 220 people a day,” Aizhen said.

//Residents say city officials have been buying their silence with 3,000 yuan ($685) cash handouts in “funeral allowances” to make sure cremations are completed by the grave-tending festival of Qing Ming on April 5.

//“It’s to stop them keening [a traditional expression of grief]; nobody’s allowed to keen after Qing Ming has passed,” Wuhan local Chen Yaohui said.

The first civil rights activist! Civil servant accuses Hubei Province government of concealing the truth, was called (summoned) to “talk”: "It will be great to win, but there shall be no regrets if I lose"

(17 Apr)While China (CCP) keeps promoting its efforts fighting against the Wuhan Pneumonia and hiding its responsibility by concealing facts and true figures resulting in a global pandemic, a civil servant from Hubei Province stands as the first activist by lodging a prosecution against the government for its concealment of truth. The activist emphasizes the Hubei government must be liable for the outbreak of Wuhan Pneumonia and the damages to the people. It was later revealed that the civil servant was, on the night of the day he filed the prosecution, “called (summoned)” by the Police to “talk”, and forced to sign a commitment promising not to discuss any case details on the internet.

According to the indictment, the first civil rights activist, who is named Tan Jun (phonetic), is a civil servant working at Yichang Children Park management office. He told the media that he had filed the indictment to the Xiling District Court, Yichang, on 13th day morning, accusing the Hubei Province government of having concealed the truth that the Wuhan Pneumonia can spread across human, hosted Lianghui (2 meetings) at Wuhan on 11th and 12th January, carried out the 10,000-Family Banquet at the Baibuting with 40,000 participating families. The government’s decision led to people exposed to the deadly virus, and so caused substantial loss to life and property.

The activist highlighted certain evidence on the table including there was a notice on 11th January 2020 by the Hubei Health Commission asserting no medical staff was infected and no spreading between humans were recorded; however, according to the “investigation into Doctor Li Wenliang incident” published on 19th March by the National Supervisory Commission, Wuhan Pneumonia was confirmed in December 2019 to be able to spread between humans.

CNN Obtained a Confidential Documents Disclosing China's Early Mishandling on COVID-19

One year after the first COVID-19 case in Hubei, CNN published an exclusive report on the receipt of 117 pages of a confidential internal document today, from an anonymous source in Hubei. The report shows that China underestimated and concealed the severity of the COVID-19 outbreak, and sent misleading information to the public during the early stages of the pandemic.

The report shows that as early as February 10, Hubei province had 5,918 new cases including clinical diagnoses, more than twice the number of confirmed cases announced publicly in China on that day. Hubai categorised these almost 6,000 reported cases into 2345 confirmed cases, 1772 clinically diagnosed cases and 1,796 suspected cases. However, the province did not disclose the number of clinically diagnosed cases by the doctors.
