Ubisoft shuts down its studio in Leamington, UK. In addition, the company is reducing stuff in Ubisoft Düsseldorf, Ubisoft Stockholm, and Ubisoft Reflections (which is also in UK). Those were among their most expensive locations, which makes sense from the business perspective.

Phoenix Labs, the creators of Dauntless is laying off almost all its stuff. They were already getting rid of people three times, but this one was the final.

The game reached Steam only with the most recent update. And it wasn't treated well — with mostly negative reviews such a game has no future.

It was initially released exclusively on Epic Store over five years ago. Bad idea for a multiplayer game.

Windows 11 update is (yet again) causing hardware issues. Right now any USB and BT device can cause system to crash, freeze, or glitch along the way. Mostly it's related to hardware that uses DAC (audio devices, web cameras, and so on).

It seems that the issue comes from KB5050009 (24H2, OS Build 26100.2894) and there is no ETA for the fix. The only solution for now is to stop using such devices, or try other USB ports.
