The Ukrainian command is preparing for an offensive in the area south of #Ugledar and in the #Zaporozhye direction. This is necessary for the AFU to constrain the Russian reserves and prevent them from moving to the area of the main attack on #Svatovo and #Severodonetsk agglomeration.
#Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️ The AFU Dnepr Group Command plans to launch an attack on Russian positions in the #Orekhovsky and #Gulyaypole sections of the front in the coming days.
▪️ To probe the Russian Armed Forces' defence, the Ukrainian formations intend to once again conduct a reconnaissance battle near #Nesteryanka.
#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ In the #Avdeevka sector, the AFU continues to hold the advance of allied forces with massive artillery fire on the #Donetsk agglomeration.
▪️ Attempts to break through towards #Maryinka and #Peski fail and end in heavy casualties. Most reinforcements are sent in with little or no preparation.
The units of the 68th Infantry Division are put on full combat readiness before launching a counteroffensive in the #Prechistovka and #Pavlovka areas to break the defensive lines of the Allied Forces.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Zaporozhye Direction until 14:00 on 16 Nov 2022⚡️
🩸 Against the background of a lull and positional fighting in some parts of the front, the Ukrainian command is reinforcing the grouping of troops in the #Zaporozhye region.
#Orekhovo Sector:
▪️ Reinforcements have arrived at the forward positions of the 1st Battalion of the AFU's 65th Mechanized Brigade in #Preobrazhenka, and a group of Ukrainian Special Operations Forces has been moved to #Volnyanka.
▪️ Armoured vehicles and weapons are concentrated near #Orekhovo, where an enemy assault force is being formed. The positions of the 16th Battalion of the AFU's 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade have been established on the #Vasinovka - #Omelnik - #Yegorovka line.
▪️ The transfer of several units from the direction of #Kherson continues. Now at least two battalions of the AFU are moving into the combat zone.
▪️ In the past 24 hours, a convoy of 80 units with personnel (about 1,500), 14 Kozak MBMs, six D-20 152-mm howitzers, five M777 155-mm howitzers, two 120-mm mortars and 11 MT-12 Rapira anti-tank guns passed through #Dnipropetrovsk from Krivoy Rog area.
#Gulyaypole Sector:
▪️ Several sabotage groups with a strength of 35 to 40 men have been formed near #Komsomolskoye, #Gulyaypole and #Malinovka to infiltrate the rear of the Russian forces.
▪️ Due to the arrival of forces from the #Kherson direction, two rifle companies of the AFU's 102nd Territorial Defence Brigade will be moved to the #Donetsk direction in early December.
