β It is situated in H.D. Kote taluk of Mysuru district, Karnataka.
β It lies north of Bandipur National Park.
β The sanctuary includes the backwaters of Nugu Dam on its western side and shares borders with Alaganchi State Forest, a part of Bandipur Tiger Reserve on the southwest side.
β Nugu Dam is built across the Nugu River, a tributary of the Cauvery.

βͺοΈThere are 30 banks, which are part of UDGAM portal, and they cover around 90% of unclaimed deposits(in value terms) in Depositor Education and Awareness (DEA) Fund of RBI.
