Brightman Hall | Northlands School, Olivos, #Argentina by MZM arquitectos

The Northlands School new Concert Hall is #located at the intersection of Borges and Tucuma‌n #streets, in one of the two blocks that the school has in Olivos, Province of Buenos Aires. It has a #covered area of approximately 1700 square meters and capacity for more than 500 people. The project was the #Biennial #Architecture Award under the Private Equipment category at the Buenos Aires International Architecture Biennial 2022.

MZM studio (Maletti Zanel Maletti arquitectos) won the #First #Prize of the #competition with the idea of “theater + amphitheater”, which was particularly valued by the jury…

The Lucila Rubio de Laverde School in Bogotá, Colombia, was #designed by the #architectural #firms are architecture en Estudio and Nómena architecture. This school is part of an initiative by the Mayor of Bogotá to improve public #infrastructure and #provide quality education facilities within walking distance for students.🎮

🤖The #design #features a two-level podium housing #communal #spaces like an auditorium, library, and dining hall, which are accessible to the community outside #school hours. The classrooms are #located in a six-story slab that faces the Bogotá River, taking advantage of natural light and ventilation. The #building uses #locally made brick to reduce #maintenance and establish a #connection with Bogotá’s traditional #architecture.🤌
