Testosterone has various esters that affect its half-life, its molecular weight and cause different hormonal fluctuations, today I am going to explain which ester suits you the best.


👨🏼‍🔬Esters

I am going to talk about the most commercialized formulations.


💉Propionate

⏳It has a very short life.
🧬It has a higher real amount of Testosterone than the rest of the esters.
❗️To avoid hormonal fluctuations I recommend injecting ED or at least EOD.
💡People with "non-responder" genetics will be able to verify that this ester is much more effective ✔️ because they will have no problem hydrolyzing the ester,
🩹It usually causes PIP.


💉Enanthate

⏳This ester has a long half-life.
❗️Hormonal fluctuations will be less and the dose can be divided EOD or E3D to avoid fluctuations.
🧬It has a less real amount of Testosterone than Propionate.
💡It is very useful for TRT.
🩹 It does not usually cause PIP.


💉Cypionate

⏳It has a long half life.
❗️It can be injected E3D to avoid minor hormonal fluctuations.
🧬It has less actual Testosterone than Enanthate.
💡It is very useful for TRT.
🩹It almost never causes PIP.


💉Sustanon

⏳It is a combination of several Testosterone esters, each brand uses a different combination.
❗️Since it always has a short ester, it will will have to be administered ED or at least EOD.
💡It is useful for bodybuilders who do not hydrolyze long esters well.
🩹It usually causes PIP.

☝🏻Test E vs Test C

Both esters are almost interchangeable due to their similar half-lives and ester weights. Even their prices are almost always identical, so if you are struggling to choose between the two, go for whichever one you have easier access to.

If you have equally easy access to both, then pick Test E if you want to inject it intramuscularly or pick Test C if you want to inject it subcutaneously.
