The RF Armed Forces have launched another massive missile strike on targets across #Ukraine.

▪️ In Kiev, CHPP-5, CHPP-6 and Darnitskaya CHPP were hit again. The underground was stopped, electricity was partially lost and water supply stopped.

▪️ #Zaporozhye region was hit by at least 12 strikes, local authorities said. In occupied #Zaporozhye, electricity and water were partially lost.

The engine room of the #Dnipro HPP was hit.

▪️ In #Kharkov, ground transport and the metro have come to a complete halt. There are disruptions in mobile communications. Partially there is no light and water. 7 strikes have hit the regional centre and 3 in the region.

#Zalyutino 330kV substation and #Kharkov 330kV PS were most likely hit. The previous day, the RF struck at CHPP-5. However, CHPP-3, which supplies power to all industrial facilities, remained unharmed.

Judging by the reports of the strike in the #Chuguev district, the fire attack might have been on CHPP-2 Eskhar.

▪️ Light went out in #Poltava and the Poltava region. The #Kremenchuk 330kV PS is likely been hit again. The #Mirgorod 330kV PS is also suspected of being hit.

▪️ In #Dnipropetrovsk region, there were explosions in #Kamenskoye and the regional centre. #Prydniprovska TPP is likely been hit again - traffic on Yuzhny Bridge opposite the TPP is blocked. The Prometey 330kV PS in #Kamenskoye is suspected been hit.

Explosions also occurred in #Pavlograd (likely the 330kV Pavlograd PS). Boiler houses and water supply are suspended in the city.

In #KrivoyRog, locals reported an explosion. Water and light were lost in the city. We already wrote that the Krivoy Rog TPP was shut down 1 1/2 month ago. Therefore, it is likely that either the Kirovskaya 330kV or Yuzhnaya 330kV PS was hit. In terms of logic, the Kirovskaya 330kV PS is most likely been hit - it supplies the water supply system.

▪️ There was a blackout in the #Cherkasy region. This could have been caused by both, the Polanyi 330kV PS being hit and the entire 330kV line along the Dnipro River being de-energised.

▪️ In #Kirovograd region, the Ukrainka 330kV PS was most likely hit. Pumping stations are shut down and power is lost. Several railroad sections are de-energized.

But the fact that the entire oblast is switched off could indicate that the 330kV switchgear of the Southern Ukraine NPP is down.

▪️ There are strikes in #Nikolaev and the region. Locals report power outages.

▪️ There are explosions in the #Ternopil region. There is only one 330kV Ternopil PS in the entire region.

▪️ In #Vinnitsa, shocks were also recorded. The Vinnitsa 330kV PS may have been hit.

▪️ An infrastructure facility in the #Odessa region has been hit. Power is partially lost in the regional centre.

▪️ In #Zhytomyr region, the Lesnaya 330kV PS in Korosten is affected. The PS bypassed the #Chernobyl NPP switchyard and supplied power to #Kiev from the #Rivne and Khmelnytskyi NPPs.

▪️ In the #Volyn, #Lvov, #Rivne, #Sumy and #Kherson regions, emergency blackouts occurred.

This is a direct consequence of the strikes in other regions. The same #Sumy is dependent on #Kremenchuk and #Kiev. And due to strikes on the Lesnaya 330kV PS, the Rivne NPP reactors could have shut down.

🩸Although the missile strike cannot be called the most massive in recent months, the number of missiles fired and the geography of targets is still impressive.

This confirms the systematic nature of the firing.

A new story has emerged in the Ukrainian infofield. People in chat rooms convince each other that the power was cut off before the strikes in order to mislead the enemy. Some even write that PPs are stopped on purpose for the duration of the raid.

There is no practical sense to be gained from such measures. But the Ukrainians believe such fables and convinces one another that the strikes by the RF are ineffective.

And this is not the case!

Military chronicles @milchronicles writes that the front line in #Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk) is short of men. The AFU have lost over a thousand men in 10 days in the meat grinder. Just yesterday TROIKA @rustroyka1945 published a photo from the back of a hospital in the besieged city. The AFU losses are really heavy.

♦️If we discard the radio interception data and information from the Wagner PMC headquarters, other intelligence signs also testify to high losses:

▪️ On 24 and 25 December, the redeployment of Kharkov Territorial Defence units began - Battalions 113, 127 and 226 of the Territorial Defence Brigades are being sent to the frontline in #Bakhmut, fraying the frontline on the border with #Belgorod Oblast.

▪️ Moreover, on December 25, it was decided to transfer the 3rd Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard from Zolochev. 🩸 Fighting continues in and around #Bakhmut. The "Wagnerians" together with the Russian People's Militia of the LPR are conducting an offensive in several areas.

However, the Ukrainian command is moving reserves to keep control of the area, so it is too early to talk about the liberating #Bakhmut soon, see also 👉 Assessment.

♦️#Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk) Sector:

▪️ Wagner PMC assault squads have squeezed out the 63rd AFU Mechanized Brigad's units from five platoon strongholds near #Opytnoye on the #Ivangrad side.

▪️ Fierce fighting for the #Kleshchiyevka village is taking place on its eastern outskirts. Units of the 28th Mechanized Brigade are setting up minefields in the central part of the village.

▪️ Artillery crews of the 28th and 53rd Mechanized Brigades and the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the AFU are firing barrage at the RF Armed Forces advance areas. Mavic-3, Matrix-300 and Autel Evo II UAVs provide target acquisition.

▪️ On the southeastern outskirts of #Bakhmut, Russian forces are gradually breaking through the defences of the Ukrainian garrison. Reinforcements and three tanks have been transferred to the area of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade for support and replenishment.

The missile attack the night before was preceded by active work of Russian kamikaze drones Geran-2. Apparently, the RF Armed Forces, in addition to direct strikes, were identifying the enemy's air defence positions in this way.

♦️ So far we have been able to gather the following information about the results of the firing:

🔹 #Odessa: The Novoodesskaya 330 and Usatovo 330 substations near the city have been hit again. Water and electricity supplies are partially missing in Odessa, with local authorities announcing long periods of power cuts.

🔹 #Kiev: The Russian Armed Forces hit an unnamed facility in the city's Goloseevsky district. Some representatives of the Ukrainian authorities believe that the strikes were carried out by ballistic missiles.

🔹 #Kiev region: Information was widely circulated on the web suggesting that the Kiev hydroelectric power plant might have been hit, but there is no confirmation. At the same time, the local administration has confirmed a hit on one of the energy facilities in the region.

🔹 #Vinnitsa: Several explosions have occurred in the outskirts of the city itself and in the region today. Ladyzhinskaya TPP could have been hit.

🔹 #Zaporozhye: The RF Armed Forces launched a powerful rocket attack on an industrial facility in the suburban town of #Volnyansk.

🔹 #Kramatorsk: A shell hit one of the medical facilities in #Ivanovka, not far from #Kramatorsk, where Ukrainian servicemen were stationed.

🔹 #Lvov: local sources reported a shell hit one of the infrastructure facilities, but it later turned out that this information was false.

🔹 In #Dnepropetrovsk, #Zhytomyr and #Nikolayev regions, air defences were triggered.

Shortly before the missile attack, authorities in #Kherson, #Cherkasy, #Kiev, #Dnepropetrovsk, #Zaporozhye and other regions of the country preemptively conducted emergency power cuts.

📌 This time, the Russian attack was smaller in the number of launches and affected sites than the previous ones. However, it also achieved its goal. The #Usatovo and Novoodesskaya substations in the south are now unable to receive electricity.

Nevertheless, it is not enough to disable the enemy's power system if the Russian command still sets itself such a goal.

🔴 The RF Armed Forces carried out overnight strikes with Gerans and other weapons against enemy targets in #Kurakhovo, #Zaporozhye, #Kherson, #Slavyansk, #Kramatorsk, #Konstantinovka, #Dnepropetrovsk and #Vinnitsa region.
➖ Ukrainian channels reported that a group of UAVs had entered along the #Dnieper riverbed in #Cherkasy region.

▪️ At least seven powerful strikes were launched in #Zaporozhye in the morning, power and water supply was lost in some parts of the city.
➖ Air strikes in #Sumy, #Poltava, #Kharkov, #Nikolayev and #Dnepropetrovsk regions.

▪️ The Wagner PMC continues its offensive in the #Soledar direction.

▪️ North of #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut), our forces are fighting for Krasnaya Gora and #Paraskoviyevka, the enemy troops are in a semi-enclosure.
➖ A critical situation is developing for the AFU in #Artyomovsk.

➖ There is information about losses of personnel and equipment of the Pacific Fleet marines. The enemy publishes video of Russian prisoners.
➖ After the RF Armed Forces broke through to #Ugledar, the enemy strengthened the defences, and the ill-advisedly organized attack of our armoured vehicles "in column one at a time" without deployment in combat formation along the front resulted in losses. Steps are being taken to rectify the situation.

🔵 The AFU carried out strikes in the #Belgorod region. ➖➖ Arrival in the Shebekinsky district.
➖ Our air defence intercepted three enemy missiles in the Grayvoron district.

▪️ The enemy fired 164 munitions at the DPR. #Golmovsky, #Mayorsk, #Zaitsevo, #Gorlovka, #Novobakhmutovka, Shirokaya Balka, #Donetsk, #Makeyevka came under enemy fire. Two civilians were wounded.
