🩸The AFU is trying to break the RF Armed Forces' defence in certain areas. Russian troops continue a positional attack near #Ploshchanka.
At the same time, the AFU's local offensive involves mainly the Territorial Defence forces, the State Border Service and mobilised troops. The regular and combat-ready units of the Ukrainian army are either in reserve in the second echelon or on leave.
A similar tactic was used by the AFU during the #Izyum offensive, when units without combat experience conducted reconnaissance missions for several weeks.
♦️#Kupyansk - #Svatovo Sector:
▪️ Combined units of the 14th Mechanized Brigade and the 32nd Consolidated Battalion of the AFU Territorial Defence unsuccessfully attempted to storm the #Sinkovka - #Lyman 1st line.
▪️ In addition, fighters of the RF Armed Forces uncovered the movement of a Ukrainian SRG in the area of #Dachnoye west of #Svatovo. In the ensuing battle, the group was defeated and the remnants fled to the forest belt.
▪️ To monitor the actions of the RF Armed Forces in the area of #Tavolzhanka, #Peschanoye and #Stelmakhovka, the engineering groups of the 103rd Brigade of the AFU Territorial Defence established additional observation posts.
