#PosadPokrovskoye Section:

▪️ Artillery crews of the 59th Separate Infantry Brigade fire indiscriminately in the Ternovye Pody area.

▪️ The 3rd Battalion of the 28th Mechanized Brigade of the AFU has been moved to the #Ukrainka area. Previously, the unit´s personnel had been performing tasks in the #Andreevka frontline section.

▪️ After their arrival, the Ukrainian formations equipped a forward control post and replaced the forces of the 59th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade at the Stepovaya Dolina - Posad-Pokrovskoye line. The forward positions are equipped with ATGMs and man-portable air defence systems (MANPADS).

#Snigirovka Section:

▪️ Six units of military equipment were moved to the vicinity of #Kiselevka to reinforce the 105th Battalion of the AFU´s 63rd Mechanized Brigade.

#Andreevka Sector:

▪️ The Ukrainian command is restoring combat readiness of units. Over the past 24 hours, 36 equipment units were moved to the left bank via the established crossings across the #Ingulets River, while 30 units were moved to #Bereznegovatoye for recovery.

▪️ A missile battery of the 57th AFU Motorized Infantry Brigade fire Russian strongholds on the #Kostromka - #Bruskinskoye - #Ishchenka line.

#Berislav Area:

▪️ The AFU are evacuating the wounded and the bodies of the fallen killed during the offensive of the 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade. The confirmed losses amount to 70 fallen and injured, excluding the missing.

▪️ In the area of Novaya Kamenka, a "roving" mortar crew fire on positions of the Russian Forces in #Pyatikhatki. And in #Petropavlovka, a SAU guns battery of the AFU's 60th Separate Infantry Brigade artillery group had been deployed.

▪️ A platoon of a Battalion of the 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade has been moved from #Potemkino to Novaya Kamenka to replenish the 98th Battalion, and composite assault groups of the AFU´s 128th Mountain Assault Brigade have been formed near #Gavrilovka.

#Andreevka - #Berislav Sector:

▪️ The AFU is restoring the combat capability their units after the failed offensive on 19 October.

▪️ According to confirmed reports, the 28th Mechanized Brigade, 60th Separate Infantry Brigade and 17th Tank Brigade lost 90 killed and wounded in yesterday's fighting (14 fallen and 76 injured of varying severity).

▪️ The command of the 17th Tank Brigade withdrew two assault groups and surviving armoured vehicles from Novaya Kamenka to #Ukrainka to be manned with mobilised civilians.

▪️ Meanwhile, the enemy continues to prepare for another offensive on the #Sukhanovo - #Polyanka line. A combined grouping of the 60th Separate Infantry Brigade and 17th Tank Brigade of the AFU has been moved to the vicinity of #Novogrigorovka.

▪️ In addition, 70 men from the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU have arrived in #Novovoskresenskoye. The reinforcements will be part of a combined grouping for an offensive in the #Berislav area.

▪️ UAV reconnaissance teams of the 97th Battalion of the 60th Separate Infantry Brigade conduct reconnaissance of Russian positions on the #Pyatikhatka - #Polyanka line.

▪️ A platoon of the AFU Territorial Defence has been moved to reinforce the positions of the 9th Composite Battalion in #Chervonoye and #Novoaleksandrovka. And three companies of the 129th Territorial Defence Brigade arrived in Zolotaya Balka.

▪️ Due to heavy losses, the 15th Battalion of the 128th AFU Mountain Assault Brigade was withdrawn from the area north of #Dudchany to the training range in #Apostolovo. The units of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade will be manned and completed with mobilised personnel and sent into a two to three week combat adjustment.

#Kiev Region:

▪️ Russian Forces continued strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure overnight. During the night raid, kamikaze drones hit autotransformers at the Kievskaya 750/330/35 kV substation.

The Belotserkovskaya 330/110/10 kV substation was also presumably one of the targets.

#Belarus Direction (MAP):

The Ukrainian command is expecting a possible offensive by the Russian Forces from the side of #Belarus.

▪️ In the village of #Derevnaya, #Minsk region, a citizen of the Republic of #Belarus passes data on the movement of Russian and Belarusian military personnel to Ukraine.

▪️ The #Volyn section on the Ukrainian side is reinforced by several battalions trained at the 184th Training Centre in #Starichi. A company control post of the AFU's 1st Radio Technical Brigade has been established near #Lukov.

▪️ In the #Kupyansk section, the 14th AFU Mechanized Brigade attempted to storm #Nikolaevka and #Orlyanka, came under massive fire from Russian MLRS, suffered losses of personnel and equipment, and then withdrew.

▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, 1 BTGr of the 71st Jager Brigade attempted an offensive towards #Chernopopovka, but retreated to their initial positions after losing several tanks and combat vehicles.

▪️ In the #Lyman sector, the AFU tried to storm the Russian positions near #Torskoye, but did not succeed.

The enemy command plans to conduct a simultaneous offensive from the northeastern outskirts of #Terny and east of #Nevskoye. At the same time, Ukrainian forces shall reach the southern outskirts of #Kremennaya.

▪️ In the #Lysychansk sector, the AFU tried to gain a foothold near #Belogorovka. The attack was repulsed and the enemy retreated to #Grigorovka.

#Soledar Direction:

▪️ In this front section, the situation is unchanged. Positional fighting continues in the outskirts of #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk), #Soledar and #Opytnoye.

#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ Ukrainian militants have once again shelled settlements in the #Donetsk agglomeration, including #Donetsk, #Makeevka, #Yasinovataya and Kashtanovka. In addition, a fuel depot in #Shakhtyorsk was hit again.

🩸 The Russian command has announced the withdrawal of the Russian Armed Forces to the left bank of #Dnipro River in #Kherson Region, where a new defence line will be established.

The official reason cited was the difficulties in supplying the grouping on the right bank of the river and the need to maintain the combat capability of Russian troops in this area.

#Kursk Region:

▪️ Russian forces have carried out at least 3 strikes by Geran-2 kamikaze drones on an enemy ammunition depot located at one of Novaya Poshta's (New Post's) logistics terminals in #Dnipropetrovsk.

▪️ According to preliminary reports, Russian kamikaze drones hit facilities in Krivoy Rog, explosions occurred near the #Ingulets dam, the local military camp and in the Central City district.

#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front (MAP):

▪️ In the #Nikolaev area, Russian units began to withdraw from their positions in accordance with the command decision.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🚫 On the Introduction of Restrictions on Media Work in the South of #Ukraine⚡️

A couple of days ago, the Operational Command "South" of the AFU announced the introduction of restrictions on the activities of media personnel in the command's area of responsibility in #Odessa, #Nikolayev, #Kherson and #Dnepropetrovsk regions.

Under the new requirements, journalists and reporters have been assigned three zones: a "red" zone where media presence is strictly forbidden, a "yellow" zone where media personnel are allowed to work in the presence of a specially authorised officer and a "green" zone with no restrictions.

🔹Why is this done?

The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly tried to restrict the work of foreign media, especially in the area of hostilities or within the radius of possible missile and drone strikes. Ukrainian propaganda is fundamentally based on falsified data and disinformation.

The presence of staff from Western news agencies - or rather media not under the control of the Ukrainian authorities - is a big problem for Ukrainian infobots. Western journalists could easily publish something that would completely smash propaganda built on lies.

🔹Which areas have been restricted for media work?

🔴 "Red Zone":

Entirely banned from visiting military bases, firing ranges, ports and airfields, as well as other critical infrastructure. Also, journalists are not allowed to work in areas bordering #Transnistria.

In #Nikolayev and #Kherson regions, reporters are not allowed to work in #Pravdino, Posad-Pokrovskoye, #Kiselevka, #Novopetrovka, #Lyubomirovka, #Snigirevka, Davydov Brod, Belaya Krinitsa and #Vysokopolye. In these localities, training activities for the mobilized are taking place, among other things.

Media workers are also prohibited from approaching the banks of the #Dnieper-Bug estuary, the #Ingulets River and the #Kakhovka Reservoir, where SRGs operate on boats, and there is active training of assault groups on forcing water obstacles.

🟡 "Yellow Zone":

Accompanied by authorised representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, journalists and reporters are able to work in several settlements in the #Nikolayev and #Dnepropetrovsk regions. Some of them are also equipped with training grounds for the mobilized. Filming along the Black Sea coast is possible with restrictions.

📌 Such Restrictions are perfectly logical in wartime conditions, so the measures taken by the Ukrainian authorities are not surprising. However, the creation of "red zones" is a double-edged sword, as it directly points out important positions and facilities to watch out for.

Since members of the media are banned from going there, it means that there is something of interest in the area, something that ordinary citizens should not see, much less be leaked to the media.

The Alibey Nature Reserve south of #Odessa on the Black Sea coast is partially included in the red zone. Near the conservation area there is a testing ground of "Tuzla", where the "Grom-2" missile defence system is tested). At present four missile launchers are deployed near #Tuzla.

In addition, the activities of journalists near the border with #Transnistria are completely banned. This is due to the concentration of several hundred people and dozens of weapons near the PMR, which is constantly denied by Kiev. There are also dozens of foreign mercenaries operating in the border villages.

And the establishment of the "red zone" along the #Kakhovka reservoir, the #Dnieper and the Dnieper-Bug estuary is mostly related to preparations for an AFU counterattack and the probable forcing (https://t.me/rybar/44982) of the water barrier to divert the attention of Russian troops from the main strike.

🔹In the Golaya Pristan Sector, the AFU is building up its forces near #Kizomys, preparing to land troops on islands south of the village on the #Dnieper River. Artillery crews of the AFU are conducting artillery preparations on the left bank from position areas in #Stanislav and #Belozerka.

▪️ Yesterday Ukrainian formations attempted air strikes on Staraya Zburyevka with a pair of Su-25 attack aircraft. One of the planes was shot down by the RF Armed Forces Air Defence Forces, and the wingman went in the opposite direction.

▪️ At least two Bayraktar UAVs operate daily from the vicinity of #Gulyayevka and Belgorod-Dnestrovsky. The drones operate at a safe distance from the frontline, providing target designation for artillery and aviation.

🔹In the #Kherson Section, a company from an unidentified AFU unit, armed with two BM-21 Grad MLRS launchers, arrived near #Kiselevka.

▪️ On the islands of Borshchevy and Karantinny, personnel presence of the Forces of Special Operation center "South" was noted. Ukrainian artillerymen and UAV crews provide fire cover from the #Antonovka - #Sadovoye line.

🔹In the #KrivoyRog Sector, at the #Berislav - #Zmeyevka line, there are crews of 2A36 Hyacinth-B howitzer, 82-mm and 60-mm mortars of the 223rd Battalion of the AFU's 126th Territorial Defence Brigade. In addition, there is a portable Grad-P rocket launcher on a Mitsubishi L200 wheeled base in the same area.

▪️ Also large-calibre 120 mm mortars as well as an anti-tank system are deployed in #Otradokamenka. From there the AFU is shelling Novaya Kakhovka and #Korsunka.

▪️ Bulgarian President Radev has criticised the parliamentary factions' project to donate defective missiles for S-300 air defence systems to Kiev, noting that the government and the National Assembly should preserve and develop the Bulgarian army's defence capability, not use it as a "donor" for foreign armed forces.
