The Israeli website “i24NEWS” said that the Emirati government stopped its diplomatic coordination with Tel Aviv, after the assassination of the seven aid workers in the Gaza Strip a few days ago.

The website, citing unnamed sources, reported that the UAE officially informed Tel Aviv of its decision, in protest against the assassination of volunteers of the “Global Central Kitchen” in Gaza.

The decision represents a crisis between the two governments.

He added that the UAE summoned the Israeli ambassador to Abu Dhabi, Amir Hayek, and informed him of its outrage over the assassination of aid workers.

He pointed out that efforts are currently underway to address the crisis, with Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz holding a phone call with his counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed.

In the past 24 hours, the United Arab Emirates has witnessed exceptional rainfall, the first in 75 years.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), these precipitations are the most intense since climate data began to be recorded in 1949.

The UAE National Center of Meteorology confirmed that the record amounts of rain that fell on the country during the past 24 hours until nine o’clock in the evening on Tuesday are an exceptional event in the climatic history of the UAE since the beginning of recording climate data, noting that it is expected that the coming hours will witness the recording of greater amounts of rain.

The highest amount of rain was recorded in the “Khatm Al-Shakla” area in the city of Al Ain, reaching 254.8 mm in less than 24 hours, in addition to that, the stations of the National Center of Meteorology in the country recorded heavy amounts of rain in many areas.

These huge amounts of rainfall are a unique event that contributes to enhancing the country’s groundwater reserves in general and is both a challenge and an opportunity to better manage water resources in the future.

A 7-year-old child died inside a student transport vehicle after being forgotten and left in the closed car for an extended period of time.

The General Command of the Sharjah Police reported that a call was received at the operations room on Tuesday afternoon regarding the death of a child inside a vehicle in one of the areas of Sharjah. Upon investigation, it was revealed that a parent of Asian nationality had contracted a driver to transport his children to school. Upon arrival, everyone exited the vehicle except for a 7-year-old child. The driver parked the vehicle next to the school, locked it, and left with her husband, without confirming that the vehicle was empty. When it was time for the students to leave, the child was found dead inside the vehicle.

The first edition of Abu Dhabi Mobility Week marked a historic moment with the first drone flight with a passenger in the Middle East.

Multilevel Group, a specialist in automation and digital transformation solutions in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Mobility, presented a special demonstration of its latest technologies in the field of unmanned flight.

The display included two drones, one with five seats capable of traveling more than 250 kilometers with a payload of up to 350 kilograms, and the other small one capable of carrying two people and traveling them for up to 35 kilometers for up to 20 minutes.

The event featured the launch of the five-seater drone in a 40-minute flight that stretched for 123 kilometers, the longest flight of the drone.

Held at Advanced Mobility Hub in collaboration with Emirates Aviation Falcons, the events included a variety of displays of drones produced by Multilevel Group, including electric helicopters and surveillance systems.

One of the highlights of the event was the launch of the first drone flight with a passenger, a feat marked for the first time in the region's history.

The UAE has directed 70% of its pledge of humanitarian support to Sudan to United Nations agencies and humanitarian and relief organizations, according to the Gulf country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, on Monday, that “support will go to the main partners from the United Nations agencies, including the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the World Food Program, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Food and Agriculture Organization, and the World Health Organization.”

This support ensures a comprehensive approach to address the humanitarian crisis and limit the worsening famine in Sudan, according to the UAE statement.
