On Monday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry denied reports circulating about the existence of arrangements with the United States to prepare lists of names of patients and students wishing to leave the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ahmed Abu Zeid, confirmed through the ministry’s account on the “X” platform that there is no truth to what is being circulated through some social media regarding a phone call between the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and the United States’ Anthony Blinken, which discussed arrangements to register lists of patients And students wishing to leave Gaza.

The woman, named Sabreen, left the family home after her father’s death, and found herself after a long journey in Cairo, where she remained missing for decades.

After years of waiting and searching, fate led her to share her story with the “Missing Children” page, which allowed one of her relatives to identify her through a photo posted on the Internet and then report that the details matched.

The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in cooperation with the Italian Archaeological Mission, discovered 33 new archaeological tombs dating back to the late Pharaonic era and the Greek and Roman eras near the Mausoleum of the Aga Khan in Aswan.

The head of the Egyptian Antiquities Sector at the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Ayman Ashmawy, announced that the discovered tombs include the remains of mummies and funerary tools, which allows a deeper understanding of the historical period and the diseases prevalent at that time.

Abdel Moneim Saeed, General Supervisor of the Antiquities of Aswan and Nubia and Director of the Archaeological Mission from the Egyptian side, explained that the discovered tombs include the mummy of an adult woman and a child, which requires further study to determine the relationship between them.

The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced its intention to begin actual commercial operation of the “Hog Galleon” liquefied gas regasification ship next week.

The ship, which was chartered by the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) from the Norwegian company Hoge, will begin gasifying the first imported shipment of liquefied gas to feed the national gas grid.

The ship “Hog Galleon” will arrive at the port of Ain Sokhna on June 13, and its trial operation began at the beginning of this week and will continue until late June.

A lawyer in the city of Belqas, Dakahlia Governorate, in Egypt, tragically ended his life by taking poisonous pills after a ruling was issued to imprison him for two years in a case related to the dissipation of a “trust receipt.”

This happened inside the courtroom, where the lawyer was attending the ruling session. As soon as the judge announced the ruling, the lawyer pulled out a toxic substance that he had brought with him inside his bag and swallowed it, which led to him falling unconscious on the floor of the courtroom.

He was immediately transferred to the hospital, where doctors tried hard to save his life, but to no avail, as he breathed his last due to the toxins he had ingested.

The Egyptian city of Al-Maasara prosecutor began investigating five defendants in a horrific crime, in which they threw a child from the fifth floor after he resisted them during an attempt to rob his father’s house.
