🎆Education must lead to illumination; the darkness of ignorance and the dusk of doubt will flee before that splendor. Then it is easy to cultivate good thoughts and feelings in the heart thus illumined. Education does not end with the accumulation of information; it must result in transformation of the habits, character and aspirations of the individual. Knowledge has to be tested in daily life. Now, man has no inkling of the most precious heritage that he has within him. He is interested in everyone except his own self. If only he becomes aware of his self, he can have vast strength, abiding peace and great joy added unto himself.
تحصیلات باید به تذهیب و روشن سازی بیانجامد؛ تیرگی ِجهل و تاریکی شک و تردید خیلی سریع تر از شکوه و جلالش می گریزد. آنوقت خیلی آسان خواهد بود که افکار و احساسات خوب را در دل گسترده ساخت تا به نور آن روشن شود. تحصیلات تنها با جمع آوری اطلاعات به پایان نمی رسد؛ بلکه باید به انتقال عادات، شخصیت و آرزوهای شخص بیانجامد. دانش باید در زندگی روزانه مورد آزمایش قرار گیرد. حالا، بشر هیچ آگاهی از میراثی که برای او باارزش ترین است و در خود اوست ندارد. او علاقه مند و مجذوب هر کس می شود جز خودش. تنها اگر او از خود (خود درونش) با خبر شود، می تواند قدرت زیادی داشته، و آرامش و شادی فراوان برایش حاصل شود.
