Anti-China movement goes viral around the globe

In recent months, protests against China are occurring regularly in different parts of the world; London, New Dehli, Toronto...you name it.

On Sunday, there was a massive protest against the communist regime held in Vancouver near the Chinese consulate. Many of the Canadians who participated are from other parts of the world, such as Hong Kong, Tibet, India, and the Philippines, to name a few. The protesters stood in opposition to China’s treatment towards people in Hong Kong and Tibet, and urged the international communities to intervene to get two Canadians, who have been held hostage by the Chinese government, released. Many nations are now banning apps from China, putting a stop to Huawei or 5G networking business, as well as reviewing their relationships with China.

Australian Prime Minister Ignored Criticism from China, Refusing the Amend the Policy “Australia is Australia”

The spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry Zhao Lijian listed out the “China-related wrongdoings” in the regular press conference on Tuesday, requesting Australia to reflect seriously. On the same day, an anonymous Chinese Official directly pointed out in an Australian media interview that the Chinese government is angry at Australia, and even provided a document from the Chinese Embassy in Australia with 14 dissatisfied “anti-China actions” by the Australian government to China. Scott Morrison, the Australia Prime Minister, said in a response on Thursday that Australia would defend their interest and would not change their usual policies. “Australia is Australia.”

Morrison said in response regarding the complaints from the Chinese Embassy in Australia on Thursday that Australia would defend their own interest and would not change their usual policies, including press freedom, elected members enabling them to express their views, as well as standing up for human rights. “If these are the reasons for the tense relationship between our two countries, it seems to be because Australia is Australia only.” He emphasised, “we will not compromise, rather, we will propose Foreign Investment Law, set up 5G network, or prevent the interference of our system.”
