Democracy Wall Becomes Lennon Wall During the Commemoration of Battle of CUHK
A year after the police's attempt to siege the university campus, the students' union of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (#CUHK) held a retrospective exhibition on the campus.
The venue was crowded as many visitors came. As people stuck memos on the "democracy wall" of the students' union, it became a Lennon wall.

During the Battle of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (#CUHK), pro-democracy civilians, CUHK students and alumni defended the university campus against the police's siege. In memory of the fight, the students' union of the CUHK organized a series of events including a photo exhibition.
However, the university not only demanded the Students' Union to remove publicity material, but also censored the photos which show the slogan "liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our times".
Nevertheless, visitors flooded to the campus to commemorate the unerasable event witnessed by Hongkongers during the 2019 Anti-Extradition Bill Movement.
