In the north of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli forces carried out a series of strikes on the capital of the Palestinian enclave, with the largest number of hits falling on the southern districts of the city. In the south of the Gaza Strip, the IDF operation is underway northeast of Khan Yunis. In the Al-Qarara area, servicemen of the 7th Armored Brigade "Saar mi-Golan" and the 98th Airborne Division "Ha-Esh" managed to advance along Street 2 and reach the As-Sikka intersection without encountering serious resistance.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Donetsk Direction: Capturing Most of the Urban Area of Krasnohorivka

The defense of Ukrainian formations in Krasnohorivka continues to rapidly crumble under the onslaught of Russian troops. At the moment, most of the city is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

❗️The active battles that have been raging for the settlement since the beginning of January are, it seems, approaching their logical conclusion. With the capture of Krasnohorivka, the last line of defense of the AFU west of Donetsk, which has remained almost unchanged since 2014, will fall.

▪️Thanks to the footage published by military correspondent Andrey Filatov, it was possible to establish the exact area of the advance of the Russian Armed Forces on the northern outskirts of the city. The Russian flag has been planted on a building in the area of the intersection of Belinsky and Lenin streets, with fighting ongoing on the approaches to Naberezhnaya Street.

Thus, it becomes clear that the Russian troops have straightened out the front line from Parkhomenko to Michurin streets, reaching the edge of Nakhimov and Ostrovsky streets. The main clashes are now taking place on Engels Street, adjacent to the Lenin Collective Farm microdistrict, which remains one of the last AFU-controlled areas of Krasnohorivka.

🔻The enemy still holds positions to the west, where a private sector stretching for 4.5 kilometers is territorially part of the city. Nevertheless, the main phase of the battles in the dense urban development is essentially over: according to available data, the AFU have not attempted counterattacks in the last few days, likely preparing to retreat even further.

▪️In addition, there is objective evidence of the entry of Russian troops into Yasnobrody north of Krasnohorivka. Despite the fact that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the capture of the village several weeks ago, footage confirming this was only published yesterday.

What is known as of 6:00 PM

The situation in Kursk Region continues to deteriorate: over the past hour, there have been several confirmations of at least partial control by Ukrainian formations over Sudzha, as well as the advance of the enemy's forward armored group to the borders of Korenevo.

▪️AFU units have entered the western suburbs of Sudzha. The center of the settlement located in the lowland is in the "gray zone". Russian troops maintain control over the eastern part of the city, which is located on the high ground.

▪️At the same time, Ukrainian formations advanced south of Sudzha: in this area, the occupation by the AFU of the settlements of Gornal, Guevo and Kurilovka is confirmed. Russian UAV operators are conducting reconnaissance of the area and providing target designation for fire strikes on identified enemy positions, while ground forces, border guards and Rosgvardia units are counterattacking.

▪️In the northwestern sector, Ukrainian formations have also expanded their control zone. The village of Leonidovo and the village of Lyubimovka have been occupied. At the same time, Russian troops attempted a counterattack towards the nearby farmstead of Zeleny Shlyakh, but were unable to liberate the settlement.

▪️One of the Ukrainian armored groups of several pieces of equipment conducted a reconnaissance in force along the Rylsk - Sudzha highway, managing to reach the outskirts of the working settlement of Korenevo, which is about 30 km southeast of Rylsk.

At the moment, Russian troops are striking Ukrainian formations and fighting on the highway, trying to prevent the enemy from capturing the administrative center of the Korenevo District.

🔻On the second day of the Ukrainian strike in Kursk Region, the situation remains difficult: the enemy's lengthy preparation for the strike, unfortunately, has borne fruit. Enemy engineering equipment is being sent to the parts of Russian territory occupied by the AFU to set up defensive fortifications.

But capturing and holding territory are two completely different tasks, so history will put everything in its place.

📌Nevertheless, the AFU's media victory against the backdrop of their massive failures in the Donetsk People's Republic is temporary: alas, there are also videos of captured Russian servicemen, and evidence of successful advancement deep into Russian territory.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 While battles are ongoing in the Kursk Region, the AFU conducted a combined raid on the border and rear regions of Russia. This is the second such attack in the past week - the previous one took place on August 3.

▪️In the Lipetsk Region, AFU drones attacked the Lipetsk-2 airfield in the regional center. One of the hits was on an ammunition depot, residents of nearby villages were briefly evacuated, and nine people were injured. Preliminary data indicates that the aircraft managed to avoid the strike.

▪️In the Belgorod Region, the targets were the settlements of Stary and Novy Oskol, with damage reported to residential buildings and industrial enterprises.

▪️In the Kursk Region, air defense activity was noted in the sky over Kurchatov, which the enemy has been shelling for the fourth day in a row, as well as in the Rylsk District. Unfortunately, in the latter, a column of Russian Armed Forces personnel was hit, resulting in casualties.

▪️The enemy also carried out another combined raid on the Crimean Peninsula. Three drones were shot down on the approach to Sevastopol, and five unmanned boats were sunk, while another drone was intercepted in the Orlovka area, and a Neptune cruise missile was destroyed over the Black Sea. In total, five drones were shot down and seven USVs were sunk in the region.

▪️Several drones were shot down in the skies over the Oryol, Voronezh and Bryansk Regions, with no casualties or consequences on the ground.

❗️As in previous cases, video materials quickly appeared online, helping the enemy assess the effectiveness of the strikes - this again raises the question that the current measures to combat this phenomenon are insufficient. At the same time, there is news that a local resident who filmed the results of the strikes in the Rylsk District has been detained on espionage charges.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Slobozhansky Direction: AFU PR Sortie and the Situation in Volchansk

Against the backdrop of the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk Region, the situation also remains tense in the Slobozhansky Direction. While in the area of Volchansk, Starytsia and Hlyboke in the Kharkiv Region, heavy positional battles continue, in the Belgorod border area, the enemy decided to make a new media sortie.

🔻In the morning hours, the AFU struck a series of blows on the Hraivornon City District, including the village of Poroz, located 2.5 kilometers from the Russian-Ukrainian border. While the village was under artillery preparation, an enemy group moved towards it.

▪️In Poroz, Ukrainian saboteurs quickly recorded a video near the building of the local village club and hastily retreated, capturing two local residents in the process. Later, these frames were posted by Ukrainian resources, and the village itself was closed for entry.

▪️According to some reports, the AFU members also carried out another PR sortie a little southeast, filming a similar video in the village of Mokra Orlivka. However, the recording was not published: apparently, either the sortie was not as successful, or the enemy decided to post it later.

🔻Meanwhile, in the north of the Kharkiv Region, fierce battles have been raging for the fourth month in a row:

▪️In the area of Hlyboke, the situation remains quite tense: although the enemy has long since not carried out counterattacks, he actively uses drones to strike at evacuation groups and supply lines of the Russian Armed Forces leading to the village.

▪️In the area of Starytsia, the configuration of the front in the Kohutovo Tract was once again clarified. Given the constant shelling of Ukrainian positions in this area, it is obvious that the Russian Armed Forces did not occupy positions there since the offensive in the Kharkiv Region.

▪️In Volchansk itself, the Russian troops slightly improved their tactical position. The enemy uses drones to strike at positions in the development on Korolenko Street, where the assault teams of the Russian Armed Forces managed to advance by a hundred meters. A similar situation is at the Aggregate Plant, where the AFU are trying to destroy the surviving shops using explosives delivered on tracked platforms.

Also, a few days ago, Russian media reported on the control of the Russian Armed Forces over Sotnitskyi Kozachok and Lukashivka. However, both settlements have changed hands more than once - there is simply nowhere to take up defense there, and under heavy artillery fire, the forces holding them retreat.

In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian formations are attempting to expand their penetration deeper into Russian territory. At the same time, more and more footage is appearing online demonstrating the successful destruction of AFU armored vehicles and personnel by Russian troops.

🔻In the Korenevo district, in the vicinity of Snagost, where the enemy previously attacked Russian positions, the situation is shrouded in the "fog of war". The situation also remains unclear in Krasnooktyabr'skoye, but there have been no reports of enemy units entering the settlement.

▪️Russian troops cleared Kremyanoye, where the presence of AFU units had previously been recorded. During the battle, the enemy lost at least one Roshel Senator armored vehicle, abandoned by its crew to the south of the settlement. It is worth noting that in this case, the Ukrainian advance detachment was likely ambushed by Russian troops and, without the support of heavy equipment, was defeated.

▪️In the area of Korenevo and Tolpinskoye, Ukrainian formations launched an attack supported by armored vehicles in an attempt to breach the defense of Russian troops in this sector. The enemy's assault was successfully repelled by Russian units, while the AFU, apparently, retreated to their initial positions.

🔻The situation in the Sudzha district remains consistently tense. Today, videos from the enemy side appeared on the network, demonstrating the presence of AFU units in the central districts of Sudzha, as well as in the area of Martynivka - and, according to reports from the scene, the enemy was spotted in the settlement during the day.

❗️Nevertheless, to declare the complete control of the AFU over Sudzha, based solely on footage from the enemy side, would be premature, as at least some of the videos were recorded several days ago. At the moment, there is no official information from the Russian authorities and no footage of objective control from the Russian Armed Forces.

🔻In the Belovsky district, Russian units are engaged in battles in Plekhovo, with no reports of the settlement falling under AFU control. At the same time, it is known that the enemy has occupied Spal'noye, through which Ukrainian mobile groups subsequently penetrated deeper into Russian territory.

▪️In the morning, equipment of Ukrainian formations was spotted in the area of Girya. According to the footage, the enemy was advancing from the southwest, from the direction of Kamyshnoe. As we noted earlier, the size of the armored group that broke through to the settlement was larger than initially assumed.

Nevertheless, the attack on Girya resulted in the most significant single-time losses of personnel and equipment for the enemy: at least seven BTR-4E armored personnel carriers were destroyed, with one of them captured by the Russian Armed Forces as a trophy. One Ukrainian pickup truck was also destroyed, and an unspecified number of enemy personnel were eliminated.

▪️Throughout the night, fighting continued in the vicinity of the territory occupied by the opponent. Ukrainian formations were active in the areas of Snagost, Korenevo and Martynivka, although they were unable to advance anywhere.

🔻The status of Sudzha remains unclear - judging by the lack of fresh footage on both sides of the front, there is no full control over the city by either the Russian Armed Forces or the AFU. At the same time, the opponent has not yet abandoned attempts to advance towards Rylsk, Lgov and Kurchatov, while consolidating on the captured lines.

Simultaneously, troop movements are taking place in Sumy Region: in the area of Hlukhiv, the movement of armored vehicles has been recorded. The AFU are also bringing in air defense assets, which, to put it mildly, is not typical for "reconnaissance groups". At the same time, Russian troops are intensively striking Sumy.

▪️Ukrainian media are actively using the successes of recent days for PR purposes and conducting media campaigns. For example, one of the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the so-called Ukraine visited the captured Sudzha border crossing point.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Massive UAV attack on Russian regions

Last night, Ukrainian forces carried out one of the largest drone strikes on eight Russian regions: according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a total of 117 drones and four missiles were intercepted.

▪️The main strike hit Voronezh Region, where the first UAVs began to be shot down even before midnight. Apparently, the main targets of the enemy were the military airfields located in the region - Baltimor and Borisoglebsk. At the moment, there is no objective evidence of damage to the facilities, only reports of affected residential buildings, outbuildings and vehicles in Voronezh and Borisoglebsk.

▪️In Nizhny Novgorod Region, Ukrainian drones, including the kamikaze UAV "Lyutyi", attacked the Kulebaki District - there is the Savaslеika airfield, where MiG-31 fighters are based. After the raid, a section of the R72 road "Vladimir - Murom - Arzamas" was temporarily closed.

▪️In Volgograd Region, air defense systems were activated in the Uryupinsk and Novonikolaevsky areas - in the latter, according to several media reports, the Balashovskaya electrical substation was damaged, but the local authorities denied this information.

▪️In Kursk Region, Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems disabled drones both in Kursk itself and in the border areas. At the same time, enemy UAVs continue to attack vehicles on the roads, hampering both evacuation and the redeployment of Russian troops.

▪️In Belgorod Region, the strike of Ukrainian drones hit Shebekino, where a residential house and the territory of an agricultural enterprise were damaged. One man was injured - in serious condition with a mine-explosive injury, he was taken to a hospital in Belgorod.

▪️Several more drones were intercepted in Bryansk, Oryol and Rostov Regions - according to the latest information, no damage was recorded there.

🔻Recently, Ukrainian forces have been focusing on strikes on military airfields - a few days ago, an ammunition depot was hit on the territory of Lipetsk-2, and last night three more objects were attacked, where, according to some data, there were also consequences.

The increasing massive raids on Russian regions demonstrate the high volume of drone production by the enemy, where the release of new UAVs fully covers the consumption of devices during previous raids.

At the same time, drones are often detected even before reaching the border, but due to the still existing complexity in organizing, coordinating and controlling the interception, it is not possible to shoot down the devices flying along the same corridors.

In Kursk Region, Russian forces are repelling attacks by the enemy in various sectors in the border zone. Over the past day, about three dozen assaults were repelled. Despite a slight decrease in the intensity of clashes compared to previous days, the situation remains far from stabilized.

🔻In Lgovsky District, the voluntary evacuation of the local population continues, while Ukrainian formations do not stop the artillery shelling.

🔻In Korenevo District, in the area of Safonivka, there are details of the repulsion of a recent attack by an AFU armor group of at least five vehicles: the enemy column was ambushed and shot from two sides, the personnel was destroyed.

🔻In Sudzha District, the situation by the end of the day did not undergo significant changes. The area continues to see fighting and sorties by Ukrainian sabotage groups. In the area of Malaya Loknya in Nikolayevka, a member of the local self-defense militia burned an abandoned AFU BMP-1 with a gasoline canister.

🔻In Belovsky District, in the evening, clashes began for the settlement of Spalnoye near the recently liberated village of Krupets.

In the Kursk direction, counter-clashes continue. The Russian forces destroyed an MLRS M270 near the settlement of Bezdrik in the Sumy Region, which they detected from the air and promptly covered with an Iskander OTRK missile with an air detonation.

🔻In the Hlushkiv district, there were no visible changes in the combat situation by the end of the day. The Russian forces are holding positions in Tetkino. Footage was published by the opposing side, so the outcome of the battle is not obvious, and a somewhat greater advance is quite likely.

🔻Between the railway and Solenenkaya Gully, Russian troops have also achieved a minor success to the east of the O0532 highway. Several forest belts have come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

🔻In addition, earlier, by August 18, Russian troops reached the Mylny Pond in Ikryana Gully south of the 3rd Mine Dacha area. However, according to some reports, fighting in the dachas has already begun, although this has not yet been confirmed by objective control footage.

🔻In the vicinity of Vuhledar, the situation remains relatively stable. No attempts at advancement have been recorded, and in Pavlivka and Yehorivka, Ukrainian formations are striking UAV targets at identified Russian troop locations.

🔻In the Glushkovo District, the situation remains stably tense. Ukrainian formations have not yet attempted to advance and are limited to strikes on settlements south of the Seym River and crossings.

🔻In the Korenevo District, Ukrainian troops, apparently, were able to advance somewhat more than was initially known the day before. Some time after the appearance of footage with strikes on Vishnevy, videos were published online of UAV strikes on a Ukrainian tank on the outskirts of Komarovka.

At the same time, due to the terrain features, Ukrainian armored vehicles could have appeared in the settlement, having passed through Vishnevka or the 10th October tract from Apanasovka. Meanwhile, reports of the enemy's presence appeared only in the context of Vishnevka - later, messages about the complete control of the village by the AFU were published online.

🔻In the Sudzha District, there is a relative lull. Russian troops are striking at identified enemy positions, while the AFU are carrying out engineering work in the controlled settlements.

🔻In the Bolshesoldatskoye District, according to a report by Russian journalists, the settlement of Nechaevo and its environs were liberated. At the same time, according to our data, Ukrainian formations did not even enter the village itself, but were stopped in the area of the Obruchye Forest, where they were subjected to several air strikes. Now, apparently, the forest has been cleared.

🔻Meanwhile, in Kursk, the installation of reinforced concrete shelters has begun. Typical modular structures will also equip Zheleznogorsk and Kurchatov.

In the Kursk direction, Russian forces continue the operation to liberate the occupied territories.

🔻In the Glushkovo District, as before, fighting continues in the area of the village of Novy Put. According to the boldest statements online, the enemy has retreated behind the state border line. However, there is no information or objective control footage from the scene yet.

🔻In the Sudzha District, Ukrainian formations in one of the battles occupied the tract of Maloye Snyatoye south of Kireyevka, where they were engaged by UAV operators. And the Russian Armed Forces are stationed in the neighboring tract of Sporny Log and the Tokarev Forest.

In the area of Novoivanovka, counter-attacks continue, the exact configuration of the front is unknown. According to some reports, Russian troops have completely liberated Daryino, but there is no confirmation from the scene yet.

▪️In the Sumy Region, the Russian Aerospace Forces struck AFU targets in the area of Mohrytsia, Belovody and in Loknya. The region continues to experience emergency power outages.
