During the night, the AFU launched a new attack on the rear regions of Russia. Their objective was not only to damage Russian infrastructure, but also to create a media spectacle ahead of the press conference by Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, our air defense systems intercepted all enemy drones, causing no damage or casualties.
On the other hand, the Russian Armed Forces demonstrated to the Ukrainian formations how to combine impressive visuals with actual success on the frontlines. Within 24 hours, Russian UAVs and hypersonic missiles targeted several logistics and military facilities in the so-called Ukraine. Explosions were reported in Odessa, Nikolaev, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Meanwhile, intense fighting continues in the special military operation zones. Near Marinka, Russian troops resumed their offensive towards the AFU fortified area in Pobeda. The assault troops have managed to slightly expand their control zone in this area, but the enemy still holds the tactical heights and "menagerie."

Russian troops are currently launching attacks in multiple directions. In the Kupiansk sector, the Russian Armed Forces are attempting to break through the defensive lines of the AFU in the north of Synkivka and along the Zagoruykovka - Timkovka - Ivanovka - Kyslivka line.
In the Soledar direction, the main efforts of the Russian troops are concentrated on gaining operational space for a further assault on Chasov Yar. In recent days, the Russian Armed Forces have managed to advance to the southeastern outskirts of Orikhove-Vasilevka and reach the eastern outskirts of Bogdanovka.
In the Avdeevsky direction, units of the Russian Armed Forces have been able to dislodge Ukrainian formations from landings west of the railway tracks near Stepovoy. On the southern flank, Russian military personnel have eliminated the last center of resistance of the AFU in the SNT “Vinogradniki”.
Meanwhile, the AFU has almost completely cleared Marinka - only about 1% of the territory of the settlement remains under enemy control. To finally liberate the city, all that is left to do is clear the territory of the agricultural enterprise located on the outskirts and reach the end of Ivan Franko Street.

In the Kupiansk sector, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing in the Synkivka area, but the exact front line configuration is unknown. In the Soledar sector, assault operations are ongoing in the areas of Bogdanovka and Kleshcheevka, but there have been no significant changes.

In the Donetsk sector, the Russian Armed Forces have achieved local successes both south and north of Avdeevka. Through competent assault operations, Russian units have improved their tactical position. In the Orekhovsky sector, the Russian Army is regaining positions lost in the summer in the Verbovoy area and west of Robotyne. They are also carrying out a systematic cleansing of the Ukrainian trenches.
During the night, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched fire strikes on the rear targets of the AFU, using missiles and kamikaze drones. Today, Ukrainian sources reported isolated cases of air defense operations in the Odessa, Nikolaev, Cherkasy, and Khmelnytsky regions. It appears that Russian troops did not carry out a mass raid, but instead focused on targeted strikes on targets in the front line and rear areas.
In the Svatovsky direction, Russian troops liberated the village of Krakhmalnoye and continued to advance on Tabaevka. At the same time, in the Lyman direction, the Russian Armed Forces have slightly improved the tactical situation in the north of the Serebryansky forestry after several days of fighting.
Fierce fighting for Avdeevka continues: Russian units have gained control over the important fortified area called "Tsarskaya Okhota" and are continuing their offensive on the southern flank. There is also news of the liberation of the holiday village Skotovataya.

🔻The AFU launched a morning strike on the large landing ship " Caesar Kunikov ", but it was not the only attack in the enemy's assault off the coast of Crimea. Prior to the attack on the BDK, NATO forces conducted comprehensive reconnaissance, followed by several UAV raids.
▪️ After midnight, the AFU once again sent drones to Crimea. This time, the launch was carried out simultaneously from three directions: four from the Odessa region, two from the Kakhovsky direction, and two more from the Orekhovsky area.
▪️ The first two UAVs were shot down 70 km south of Yalta, and three more were destroyed two hours later 6 km south of Feodosia - all five by Su-30SM fighters. The latter were suppressed by electronic warfare equipment as they approached Anapa. The drones fell into the water 12 km from the city.
❗️It is noteworthy that the AFU began launching attacks from multiple directions to cover both the west and east of Crimea. Around two o'clock in the morning in Crimea, there was a missile threat due to the launch of a decoy from the vicinity of the Alibey test site.
It is also interesting to note that the geography of the attacks changed just before the attack on the large landing ship: both today and on Saturday, enemy drones operated along the southern coast of Crimea, and there was always an RQ-4B in the air.

🔹In the #Avdeyevka sector, the RF Armed Forces broke through the enemy's defences in the area of the "Zenit" fortified area in the southern section of the front, advanced 2 km deep into enemy positions. The enemy fled, leaving the fortifications being built since 2014. In #Avdeyevka itself, the Russian Army crossed Industrial Avenue and completed wedging into the AFU defence in the city, cutting it in two. Our fighters took house after house yesterday. The enemy was not helped by the transfer of the most motivated and trained units from the AFU's 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, which is based on selected Nazis from the Azov Terrorists to the #Avdeyevka sack. The Filtration Station was taken under control, our troops broke into the territory of the Coke Plant. The AFU still have the opportunity to move along secondary roads like the M113 motorway, according to Russian military commanders.
🔹In the #Kherson direction, there are no changes. A few AFU units continue to sit in basements in #Krynki. The enemy inflicts the main damage to our troops with the help of drones, artillery and remote mining.

Now that the emotions following the recent attack by the AFU with BECs and the loss of the patrol ship “Sergei Kotov” have settled, let's delve deeper into what transpired that night.
The aim of this analysis is not to blame the Black Sea Fleet. 📌The objective is to highlight the enemy’s tactics, identify key areas for attention to prevent such incidents in the future, and discuss the challenges faced by our fleet using Project 22160 ships as an example.
🔻 Progress of the AFU attack:
▪️ After midnight, the patrol ship "Sergey Kotov", positioned on combat duty south of the Kerch Strait, was targeted by five unmanned boats of the Ukrainian AFU (the BECs were drifting in the central part of the Black Sea preparing for the attack).
▪️ Why did all five BECs strike the ship? The answer, unfortunately, lies in issues with the Project 22160 ship itself (without diverting attention from the Black Sea Fleet).
These ships simply lack the necessary defensive capabilities: they lack air defense or anti-submarine defense. Only two machine guns are woefully inadequate for engaging group targets.
▪️ Following the impact, a tugboat and a patrol boat rushed to assist the crew, while a Rosguard Mi-8 helicopter arrived at the scene of the attack, neutralizing the sixth unmanned boat to the west of the Sergei Kotov.
▪️ By 3 a.m., most of the crew had been evacuated to tugboats (involving a total of three tugboats), and a decision was made to tow the ship back to port. However, the delay in initiating survival efforts due to awaiting orders from command (a direct consequence of the Black Fleet’s lack of flexibility) ultimately determined the outcome.
▪️ By morning, “Sergey Kotov” began to sink southeast of Cape Takil. Three more BECs appeared south of the Crimean Bridge, but were intercepted by the Mi-8 helicopter thanks to the illumination from the tugs' searchlights. The bridge seemed to be the intended target of this attack.
❗️Several key observations emerge from the entire attack:
–Project 22160 ships are ill-equipped to counter modern threats. Relatively inexpensive BECs can incapacitate costly ships. Moreover, they are vulnerable to UAVs due to the absence of air defense.
"Interestingly, the crews of a tugboat with a searchlight and the Mi-8 helicopter from the Russian Guard successfully handled the BECs independently.
-The bureaucratic delays during the attack significantly impeded the ship's survivability efforts. Timely action could have saved the ship.
-Regrettably, it appears that the fleet lacks a mechanism for learning from its mistakes as similar issues persist chronically. Patrolling alone without adequate equipment and surveillance at night... no improvements have been made yet.
-However, the tactics of the AFU have evolved: they now conduct nocturnal group attacks with up to 10 drones, rather than one or two BECs (seemingly accumulating drones before striking). Given the lack of appropriate countermeasures and poor visibility, this approach appears logical, albeit resulting in ship losses each time.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Ukrainian forces are continuing their attacks on Russian territory. Over the past week, the regions most frequently targeted by enemy fire were Belgorod, Kherson, and the Donetsk metro area. The AFU utilized drones and artillery to strike back.
▪️ The most severe situation was observed in the Belgorod region, where enemy reconnaissance groups had been active the previous week along the border area. Despite a reduction in the intensity of attacks, the AFU launched 859 rounds in the region this week, resulting in 14 civilian casualties and 31 injuries of varying severity.
▪️ In the rear areas of Russia, the Kyiv regime attempted attacks on targets in Voronezh and Saratov. Ukrainian drones were intercepted by the Russian air defense system as they approached the city of Engelsthe Crimean Peninsula with a massive combined assault. Sevastopol was also struck, resulting in one fatality and four injuries.

Ukrainian formations, in turn, again carried out a massive drone attack on fuel and energy facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation. Several oil depots and substations were attacked in Crimea, Sevastopol and Krasnodar Krai.
The Russian Armed Forces continue the offensive in the Slobozhansky direction. Fighting is underway in Volchansk and on the northern outskirts of Lyptsi, the area of control has been expanded in the area of Lukiiantsi.
In the Donetsk direction, Russian forces advanced in Krasnohorivka and cleared the "cauldron" east of the city near the Borisivka pond.

Footage has emerged online of the destruction of a Su-27UB at the Myrhorod airfield and an S-300 air defense battery east of it. In turn, the AFU again launched 12 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles at the Crimean Peninsula.
In the Slobozhansky direction, Russian units repelled counterattacks by the enemy. In Volchansk, fighting broke out in the vicinity of the aggregate plant, which Russian forces have advanced towards from Gorky Park.
In the Kupiansk-Svatove direction, assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces are engaged in combat in the area of Miasozharivka: according to unconfirmed information, the settlement and the neighboring village of Andriivka have come under the control of Russian troops.
In the Avdiivka direction, Russian servicemen advanced in Novopokrovske, capturing most of the settlement. Simultaneously, fighting continues along the line of Novoaleksandrivka - Sokil.
