One more for the collection: Thunderful are cooking with Planet of Lana, The Gunk, Lost in Random, SteamWorld Series, Laika, Viewfinder, Lego Brick Tales, and Islanders.

But for today I've tried Wavetale, a dystopian tale of a girl, living on islands that were just corrupted by unknown mist.

Wavetale is very impressive and I like how they are using fake reflections with a mix of matcaps and flares.

It was on sale for like $2 and I don't think that $30 is a fair price. It's cute, but too simple. Get it on the next sale then!

An interesting story: the guy was working over 2 years non-stop to push his isometric RPG on Steam and then he gave up.

The game will be delisted, but currently on a big sale. And yes, it will remain available in the library even if delisted.

UPD: Apparently, the story was even worse!

- 25 people, they got funding for a few years, quickly assembled the prototype and the investor left with all the $$.

- Everyone is fired, but 5 folks are saying they will continue on Early Access. They still own the rights.

- 2 folks actually continue and send it to Early Access.

- 2 years later the remaining one gives up.

Burnout burned out and Wreckreation wrecked...

Nothing works as expected
Driving physics is messy
Performance issues
Visual bugs and flickering

How so?

Lack of proper play testing and QA, despite the support from THQ Nordic this time. Those are ex Burnout developers who quit Criterion Games and this is their FOURTH try to make a new racing game. It's better than their previous tries, but still.
