Meanwhile, Civilization VII Premium Access has become one of the worst rated games on Steam.
People are mad that the visuals are very questionable, the UI got worse compared to previous games, and so is the performance.
Overall, the game has the potential but feels at least 1 year too early to release. And keep in mind, that it's gonna be fully released on February 11, while Deluxe and Founders editions are able to play 1 week early (for $100 and $130, respectively).

It seems like HALO marketing is now led by ex-Concord marketing director. I have some questions...

Like... how about no? Jeez, this wasn't the problem, Andrew! Look at Baldur's Gate 3, Wukong, and many other examples without multiplayer. #EA@GameDEV #Bioware@GameDEV
Fortunately, the writer of previous Dragon Age games suggested both camps to chill. He noticed that for suits it's much easier to learn WRONG lessons from the modern game industry β they are mostly in touch with other suits.
But he clearly asked Andrew Wilson to learn what was good in the previous games. And it clearly was not the multiplayer.

Sega and Sports Interactive have cancelled Football Manager 25 across all platforms after what has been a difficult development. Itβs the first time the long-running sports sim series has skipped a year entirely since it began in 2004. They will move on to the next game instead.
Sorry, WUT?
I respect that, still sounds concerning...
Sorry, WUT?
We could have pressed on, released FM25 in its current state, and fixed things down the line - but thatβs not the right thing to do. We were also unwilling to go beyond a March release as it would be too late in the football season to expect players to then buy another game later in the year.
I respect that, still sounds concerning...

Ubisoft, PlayStation, ARMA, and DAYZ are down. The nature is healing π
Fun fact: Ubisoft locks down its old games the way that you have to login every fuckin time you launch Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed 4, etc. But not the newer games β Steam login is enough for modern titles. There's literally no reason for gatekeeping old games, since all these games are already cracked.

KCD2 is doing great: 1M copies sold on the first day!
It seems that KCD II has the budget of around $41m, which is exceptionally small by modern standards.
This number already paid off. And it was achieved by using labor from Eastern Europe, Cyprus, and some other cheaper areas. For example, Owlcat Games (Pathfinder, Rogue Trader) provided a strong team of developers for the game.

Yeah, Copywrite laws sux, never use what you don't own as commercial projects (and probably free ones too), and always do your homework on all the assets, names, and terms:
Even for a small indie game you should hold a spreadsheet of all works, their respective creators and owners, and so on:
