It's highly likely, that they are using TressFX by AMD, upgraded (still under Open Source) by Unity China under HairFX brand. And yes, you can add this to your games!
Crazy enough, there's Chinese Unity that is a separate entity and makes even more nice stuff than the main one. This plugin, for example, works well with Unreal and seems like it was also integrated into Frostbite engine (DICE/EA).

Unity swapped Apply and Revert buttons in their UI between 2022 and Unity 6 for no reason. The change makes users accidentally reverse changes.

Unity fired an undisclosed number of workers last morning by sending out a 5 AM email. The biggest loss is among Helsinki office. And this is the sixths significant layoffs wave in Unity in the last couple of years.
It's interesting that this time they attacked a cash cow: Unity ADs was heavily affected.

βΌοΈ It means Unity has cut ties with precisely 1,761 full-time staff members over the past 12 months and closed 23 offices in the process.
