BISHOP OYEDEPO FINALLY ANNOUNCES ‘THE ARK’ CHURCH AUDITORIUM/FAITH ACADEMY CAMPUS LEGACY PROJECT
Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide has finally announced the long awaited mega church auditorium project to be carried out by the Church. He also announced the construction of a new Faith Academy which he stated would match any university in Nigeria in standards.
According to Bishop David Oyedepo a few minutes ago, he stated:
“We are commencing the 100,000 Capacity Ark Project very soon.
A new campus for Faith academy.
The students are resuming there tomorrow
A multi billion project
It (Faith Academy) will match any campus of any university in Nigeria”
Church Gist had earlier reported that the project which had been delayed for a few years would be announced at Shiloh 2020, however Bishop chose to announce it unceremoniously today. The project is however already an open secret at Canaanland, Headquarters of the Living Faith Church.
Church Gist can authoritatively tell you that the project which according to the Bishop involves the demolition of the old Faith Academy as well as Word of Faith Bible Institute among other facilities will also include the transformation of 50,000 capacity (former largest world auditorium) Faith Tabernacle into an overflow facility while a 20 storey tower will also be constructed as the headquarters of the Church. The 20 floor tower is to replace the initially planned 12 floor building which was to have been built with the initial Faith Theatre Project in 2015. The Living Faith Church had in the mid 90s constructed an 8 tower headquarter facility at the Raji Oba, Lagos Church known as Capernaum as well as a 5 storey tower at the cradle of the Church known as Garden of Faith, Barnawa, Kaduna.
The Living Faith Church (World Mission Agency) owned Covenant University also has an 8 storey tower Senate Building as well as another 8 floor research building known as CUCRID or the Covenant University Centre for Research, Innovation and Discovery.
No offering for the project will be raised for the massive project as the money said to be in tens of billions of naira had already been put aside after it was announced at Shiloh 2015 and committed worshippers gave towards it.

June 2022. Construction of the 6th floor of the Mission Tower.
October 2022. Seventh Floor Slab of the Mission Tower completed.
January 2023. Construction of the ninth floor of the Mission Towers.
Air conditioners paid for.
Manufacturing of the dome roof completed: To be shipped to Nigeria shortly.

One of the few churches on this list and estimated at slightly over 200 million dollars, The Ark at Canaanland, Ota, Nigeria has a span of 318m, a height of over 70m and a foundation depth of 69 feet. It will have a total of 128 elevators, escalators and travelators (the most in one buildingl) as well as 1,200 toilets. It has a twin tower of 12 storeys each. The main bowl of the Ark will take over 109,000 people and a basement that can take 350 cars of 44,000 people. If all the facilities within the Ark are filled up, it will take more than 200,000 congregrants. On completion, the Ark built by Bishop David Oyedepo led Living Faith Church aka Winners' Chapel will be the largest single indoor Church structure with a footprint of about 66,500 m2.
THE HAND OF GOD CATHEDRAL in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Estimated Cost on completion is in the range of 100 million dollars. The structure is shaped like 5 fingers attached to a main bowl and each finger with a length of 100m and width of 48m. Hand of God has the largest steel roof in the world. On completion, the Cathedral built by Pastor David Ibiyeomie led Salvation Ministries will be the 3rd largest Church building in the World by footprint with a size of 56,000 m2.
THE LAGOS ARENA in Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria. It is a 100 million dollar multi purpose hall with 12,000 spectator capacity. The total construction area of the Arena is 25.250 sqm.

QUEEN'S WHARF in Australia, Oceania. A 2.3 Billion Dollar project composed of 4 Towers sitting on top of a 7 storey podium. The tallest Tower has a height of 242M.
