One of the floors housed a field hospital where not only soldiers but also civilians, who suffered from the SMO, were treated.

Judging by the footage from the scene, there is no evidence of military equipment near the military medical facility. It is very likely that the target was once again chosen by local residents. An agent network made up of citizens of Donbass republics loyal to Kiev was working.

It cannot have escaped the notice of the residents that there was a military hospital on the hotel grounds, where their neighbours and compatriots were also staying.
