According to various sources, the AFU grouping in the #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) direction currently numbers between 30,000 and 40,000 men. It includes units from the 55th Brigade, 93rd Brigade, 128th Brigade, as well as militants of the Aidar battalion.
▪️ In the course of the offensive from the #Nikolaevka Second, units of the Wagner PMC captured an AFU stronghold at a road junction south of #Otradovka and are moving further towards #Kurdyumovka. #Otradovka itself also came completely under the control of the Wagnerians.
▪️ Reports of the liberation of #Zaitsevo south of #Bakhmut proved premature. Most of the settlement is controlled by the Wagner PMC units, but the Ukrainian Forces remain present in the western part of the village, where fierce fighting is taking place. ▪️ The #Soledar OTG command expects an active offensive by Russian troops on the #Kodema - #Kurdyumovka and #Klinovoye -Krasnaya Gora lines to further blockade #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) from the north-east and south.
▪️ Government offices are evacuated from #Bakhmut itself to Chasov Yar. Signatures are being collected in some units of the AFU on the issue of distrust of the grouping's command.
▪️ Wagner PMC Fighters have reached the southeastern outskirts of #Bakhmut and established control of #Ivangrad in the course of fighting. Ukrainian formations suffered losses and withdrew to the #Klescheevka area.
▪️ Forty-three military personnel and one reserve platoon were also transferred to the #Klescheevka area to reinforce defences and restore positions. Wounded are being evacuated from #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) with the help of armoured combat vehicles.

▪️ In the #Bakhmut area, Wagner PMC assault units continue fighting on the south-eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut and near #Opytnoye.
▪️ Formations of the 54th AFU Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade tried to retake the territory of an asphalt plant. Wagner PMC fighters repulsed the attack and Ukrainian troops suffered heavy losses.
▪️ Several battalions of the 54th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade were withdrawn to #Konstantinovka to be re-staffed with personnel trained in foreign training centres.

▪️ In the #Bakhmut area, Wagner PMC assault units continue fighting on the south-eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut and near #Opytnoye.
▪️ Formations of the 54th AFU Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade tried to retake the territory of an asphalt plant. Wagner PMC fighters repulsed the attack and Ukrainian troops suffered heavy losses.
▪️ Several battalions of the 54th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade were withdrawn to #Konstantinovka to be re-staffed with personnel trained in foreign training centres.
▪️ Units of the AFU continue to arrive in Chasov Yar. According to the plans of the #Soledar Task Force, a grouping of about 10,000 troops is to be deployed in the two settlements by 25 October.

▪️ In the #Bakhmut area, Wagner PMC assault troops are conducting an offensive near an asphalt plant on the southeastern outskirts of #Bakhmut. The command of AFU Operation Task Group Soledar establishes a fortification at the champagne winery.
▪️ Units of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade attempted a counterattack on #Ivangrad from the direction of #Opytnoye and #Kleshcheevka.
In intense fighting, the attack was repulsed. The 53rd Brigade suffered heavy losses. 23 men alone were knocked out and 1 wounded, according to confirmed reports.
▪️ Ukrainian radio is spreading information about heavy losses of the AFU. According to one report, two packed trucks with the bodies of fighters killed in the fighting on 19 October left #Bakhmut yesterday.
▪️ The survivors were sent to #Konstantinovka for reforming. The AFU formations, whose members were trained abroad, have been training there for several days.
▪️ According to the plans of the Ukrainian command, the forces of the AFU's 53rd Mechanized Brigade in #Bakhmut should halt the advance of Wagner's PMC units until a reaction force is established in Chasov Yar and #Konstantinovka for a counteroffensive in the area.

#Bakhmut Area:
The Wagner PMC assault units continue to advance on the southeastern outskirts of #Bakhmut and around #Opytnoye.
▪️ Ukrainian formations to deter Russian troops are shelling the areas of #Ivangrad, #Otradovka, Veselya Dolina, and #Zaitsevo.
▪️ Forces of the 2nd Battalion of the 53rd AFU Mechanized Brigade attempted a counterattack near #Opytnoye and #Kurdyumovka. During the fighting, the Russian forces repulsed the attack and pushed the Ukrainian militants back to their initial positions.
The losses of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade consisted of 31 dead and 33 wounded of varying severity. The wounded were evacuated to #Konstantinovka and #Kleshchiyevka.
▪️ The command of AFU Operation Task Group Soledar is preparing for fighting in the residential areas of #Bachmut. It is planned to move units of the 112th AFU Territorial Defence Brigade from the #Kiev region to the settlement.
At the same time, a plan has been developed to abandon #Bakhmut in case the defences are breached and a new line is formed at the Chasov Yar - #Konstantinovka line. Assault groups are being prepared near these settlements.
#Lysychansk Sector:
▪️ The AFU expects a Russian offensive on #Belogorovka. NATO countries transmitted intelligence about the deployment of the 12th Wagner PMC assault force in full strength near #Lysychansk. According to GUR, it is they who will form the backbone of the #Belogorovka offensive grouping.

▪️ In the #Svatovo Sector, the AFU are trying to break through the Russian defence near #Kuzemovka village. Russian forces have detected the movement of small enemy groups and launched strikes against them.
▪️ In the evening, Ukrainian Militants shelled #Svatovo and #Melovatka with HIMARS MLRS, damaging residential buildings.
▪️ In the #Lyman sector, two companies of the 66th AFU Mechanized Brigade tried to storm Russian positions near #Kremennaya. Units of the 20th Army of the Russian Armed Forces ambushed the enemy forces and their reserves, launched artillery strikes and forced them to retreat to their initial lines.
#Soledar Direction:
▪️ Wagner PMC troops completely driven the AFU out of the #Ivangrad village vicinity, located in close proximity to #Bakhmut districts. In the west, fierce fighting for #Opytnoye continues.
#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ In the #Ugledar sector, fighting in #Pavlovka has finally become positional, with the AFU trying to drive the Russian forces out of their occupied positions. Near #Maryinka and #Novomikhailovka, Russian troops are also not conducting active assault actions and are entrenched in their positions.
▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled #Donetsk, #Gorlovka, #Spartak, #Yasynuvata and other settlements in the agglomeration. There are fatalities among civilians.

▪️ Ukrainian militants fired HIMARS MLRS at #Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. Russian air defence intercepted five missiles and one hit a sluice and caused light damage.
▪️ In the afternoon, Ukrainian saboteurs blew up a power line on the #Berislav - #Kakhovka trunk road. Power failed in #Kherson and there was a wave of looting in the city, exacerbated by law and order problems.

#Bakhmut Area:
▪️ The Wagner PMC assault troops continue to storm Ukrainian positions in the southeastern part of #Bakhmut and in the #Kurdyumovka area. The "Wagnerians" have advanced towards #Andreevka and #Kleshcheevka.
▪️ #Bakhmutskoye has been completely cleared out, and Russian troops are close to #Soledar. Heavy fighting is also taking place for the village of #Belogorovka, where half of the settlement is currently under the control of the musicians.
▪️ To deter the Russian offensive, AFU artillery crews are shelling the areas of #Ivangrad, #Zaitsevo and #Mayorsk. Reinforcements were moved to the contact line to reinforce the 53rd and 54th Mechanized Brigades of the AFU.
▪️ Due to significant losses in personnel and equipment, the command of the Operation Task Group Soledar plans to withdraw the 93rd Mechanized Brigade from the #Podgorodnoye - #Soledar - #Yakovlevka line for restoration, starting on 16 November
