On the third day of the AFU offensive on #Kherson, they decided to push through the Russian defenses in three areas at once: near #PosadPokrovskoye, in #Andreevka and #Vysokopolye and near #Aleksandrovka and #Blagodatnoye (Komsomolskoye). The AFU had no successes and still has not.
Despite the AFU's superiority in equipment, reconnaissance, target acquisition and artillery fire, the hastily assembled reserves showed a complete lack of battlefield training and preparation.
In some areas, AFU soldiers and territorial defence militias went into battle in full force while under the influence of psychotropic drugs.
▪️ At the #PosadPokrovskoye section of the front:
➖ By midday, the AFU managed to break through the defences of the Russian Forces at #ZelyonyGay and achieved successes from the Ternovye Pody side. The Russian units were temporarily pushed back to the northern line of #Kiselevka.
➖ A few hours later, thanks to the released mobile reserve from #Aleksandrovka, the Russian Forces managed to return to the #Blagodatnoye (Petrovskoye) - Zelyony Gay initial line.
➖ #Lyubomirovka (Krasnoye Znamya) and #TernovyePody remain under AFU control. #Soldatskoye and #Mirnoye are in the grey zone.
▪️ At the #Snigirovka section of the front:
➖ The AFU attempted an attack on #Blagodatnoye (Komsomolskoye) from the north via #Partizanskoye and from the west via #Kiselevka. After the loss of five vehicles and half a company of killed and wounded soldiers, the AFU withdrew.
In #Partizanskoye, an AFU supply point was blown up.
▪️ At the #Andreevka section of the front:
➖ The AFU made a suicide rush across the steppe with reserves of armoured vehicles and personnel. They managed to advance from Sukhoy Stavok to #Kostromka and the south-western outskirts of #Bruskinskoye.
➖ By the evening, the Russian Forces had regained the initiative, secured the route #DavydovBrod - #Bruskinskoye - #NovayaKakhovka and pinned down AFU fire in #SukhoyStavok and #Kostromka. The entire corridor from #Andreevka onwards is under full fire control of Russian Forces.
➖ Ukrainian Forces also tried to extend their control to the #Plotnitskoye tract east of #Lozovoye.
▪️ In the #Olginskoye sector at the front:
➖ In the morning there were reports that #Arkhangelskoye had come under AFU control. In the afternoon, Russian Forces launched a counterattack and tried to retake the settlement. Fighting in the settlement is still ongoing.
➖ Russian units are successfully maintaining their defences in #Olgino. In #Vysokopolye, they have managed to break through the encirclement and launch a counterattack. Russian Forces are focusing on eliminating AFU reinforcements.
As a result, Krasnoye Znamya, Ternovye Pody, Andreevka, Lozovoye and Sukhoy Stavok are under the secure control of the AFU. Arkhangelskoye, Olgino, Vysokopolye and Kostromka are contested.
The continuation of the AFU offensive depends on the availability of manpower and equipment. Both are still abundant. The Ukrainian side can still afford to replenish the front with the remains of shattered equipment and the corpses of stunned soldiers.
The Russian Forces have already dealt with two waves of attacks. They are waiting for the third wave in the best traditions of NATO methodology.
