... over 700 people have already turned up to sign their name.
The State is planning to begin to install the 400+ more migrants into the building in Roscrea town in the coming days.

YES, you read that correctly, 400+ more migrants to be 'installed' into a building in Roscrea town confirmed ‼️ 😮

Locals have been told the former convent school is being refurbished to accommodate 402 Ukrainians though many in the town suspect this is a ruse and it will end up being used to house many more international protection applicants due to size of the site which is situated next to a working primary school and creche.

Over 130 people are in another direct provision center in Roscrea already, in Corville House.

'Our small town of Roscrea has taken in more Asylum seekers than we can care for. The Government is now placing them in the old Convent which is between both a Crèche and a Primary school. Our town does not have the facilities for more Asylum Seekers, we are struggling to care for our own people and the Asylum Seekers currently living here. We need your signatures to stop more people moving into our town. We physically cannot cater for more people. There is not enough housing or medical facilities for so many people.'

I think that Teresa was referring to Rackett Hall Hotel too. It is located about 1km away from Corville House (formerly better known as Sean Ross Abbey).
The Hotel, Roscrea's only remaining hotel closed yesterday and is now to House 160 people who are 'International protection applicants' who claim that they are refugees seeking refuge.

Corville House has for some years now also been a direct provision center for 'International protection applicants' and houses approximately 180 individuals, mostly, if not all, single men as far as I am aware.

In addition to this, the former Sacred Heart Convent building in Roscrea town center has 402 asylum seekers allocated to it.
