🗓 25th July, 2014, otherwise tagged '2014 Qudus Day Killings' is a bloody incident perpetrated by former President Good Ebele Jonathan, where on his order Nigerian Army opened fire on 2014 Qudus Day rally in Zaria city, killing 34 innocent brothers and sisters of the movement including 3 sons of Sheikh Zakzaky, Leader of the movement.

☑️ Islamic movement in Nigeria 🇳🇬 remembers this bloody incident annually as part of its activities in the struggle against injustices in Nigeria.

☑️ On the Friday 25th July, 2014, while the peaceful rally in support of the #Palestine 🇵🇸 and the atrocities they are suffering at the hands of the muderous 'israeli' regime, 3 truckloads of armed soldiers opened fire on the tail end of the peaceful demonstration killing 31 innocent Muslims brothers and sisters of the movement including the sons of the Leader of the movement.

☑️ Among those instantly killed in addition to those who were arrested alive and later totured to death were then a 7 year-old boy, 16 year-old Usman Ridwana and 18 year-old Sayyid Mahmud Ibraheem Zakzaky.

☑️ Sayyyid Mahmud is one of the sons of the leader who then frequently imprisoned under the various Nigerian juntas and is a fierce critic of political corruption, as well as the then so-called Boko Haram movement.

☑️ It had further reported after the killing that dozens of men and women on the protest were arrested including 3 other children of the Sheikh who were arrested after they had been gun down and totured to death.

☑️ The Al-Quds Day in Zaria city march used the same route it used on 25th July, 2014, which it has been using for the past 33 years, starting at Sabon Gari Jamat mosque.

☑️ Witnesses from various reports gathered then, said that the soldiers involved in the shooting came from the Military Depot, Sabon Gari Barracks.

☑️ Also, among reports gathered in July, 2014, said the Chairman of IHRC, Massoud Shadjareh then said:

💬 “This is a heinous act, that sadly is not isolated in the history of this event in 🇳🇬 Nigeria. It appears that Nigerian security co-operation with 'israel' grows year on year, with its military targeting peaceful pro-#Palestinian activism. It is disgusting. We extend our condolences to the families of the deceased, who must be considered far flung victims of the latest 'israeli' aggression.”
