People who want to help one another... are *kept from* helping one another... by mechanisms that we have been taught would make our lives good and strong.
Do your job, make money, and it will be okay.
Unfortunately, the ways we are told to do our jobs and make money do not result in us being okay — unless we already had enough support to get us through the hard parts.
If we don't have enough support to get us through the hard parts, the hard parts may sink us (and others may have been led to believe we deserve it, and think no more of it).
Many people have this conundrum currently.
We resolve the conundrum by prioritizing safe communities where people look out for one another, care for one another, and work together to solve problems more effectively.
If we haven't recognized those priorities first, we might wonder why things keep going wrong.

' I have not found a single professional as regards dating, sexuality, or intimacy who will talk with us about sex trafficking.
Almost every attempt I have made, especially with professionals in Austin Texas, has resulted in blocked contact or no response despite profound efforts over long periods of time.
What's up?
Would anyone like to say? I don't want to speculate.

How on Earth does any survivor of sex trafficking ever alert their community to the danger?
It appears that it never happens, no one has planned for it, and no one wants to.
My response to this is Are you kidding? Just at the moment.
What exactly am I missing?
