港僑會 創辦人 #鄭文傑 出席 #捷克議會聽證會，會議由 眾議員 Eva Decroix MP 及 參議員 Senator Pavel Fischer 主持，與人權衛士 Laura Harth 、捷克當地對華智庫 Sinopsis 及 其他香港民主運動人士 劉祖廸、朱牧民、Iverson Ng 向 捷克外交及司法官員，包括部長及副部長，向當局陳情 #暫停香港及捷克引渡協議，並明確 否定《#港區國安法》的域外效力，以阻止中共當局於海外追緝政治異見人士，且侵害國際社會的民主、自由、人權及司法主權。
HKB Founder, #Simon Cheng, attended the Czech parliamentary hearing. The meeting was chaired by Eva Decroix MP and Senator Pavel Fischer. Together with the Safeguard Defenders Laura Harth, the local Czech think tank Sinopsis and other Hong Kong pro-democracy activists Finn Lau, Samuel Chu and Iverson Ng, we petitioned the authorities, including Minister and Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Justice, to suspend the extradition agreement between Hong Kong and the Czech Republic, and explicitly deny the extraterritorial effect of the "Hong Kong National (State) Security Law", in order to prevent the CCP regime from pursuing dissidents overseas and intruding the democracy, freedom, human rights and judicial sovereignty in the international community.

「這一些『洋奴』究竟是自發去做這些動作，還是有利益關係下而作，我們查核不到，但很明顯在過程中看到很大的協調。這一些英國人，現在都是在英國生活。又或是人在英國但非常親共，例如一些英國的親共 Youtuber ，以非常道地又純正的英式英語，把中共那一套論點講出來，並指責 BBC 等媒體報導方向單一。」可見整個大外宣的架構系統非常仔細。

Amongst around 80 invited guests and Chancellor Jeremy Hunt, a quarter are the organisation leads amongst the BN(O) Hongkonger community and human rights groups. Simon Cheng emphasised that the Chinese ruling class that British officials contacted may not represent the interests of the general public. Even if the British government justifies such engagement with China due to it's size and status, we should not fuel the arrogance of autocracy to believe suppressing rights and expanding its power could meet less and even no diplomatic consequences.

即將新增的國家安全法律將更高壓、寬闊而綿密，不僅嚴格規管本地公民，還指涉外籍人士在香港的活動。該法的域外效力更將打壓人權，形成寒蟬效應，壓制國際社會本所享有的民主及自由權利。該法的附加條件也升級，打擊層面從針對個人升級至整個組織及社群，入罪對象更從「要犯」連帶及牽連與之相關的整個社群網絡。
儘管面對種種嚴峻打壓，我們仍然保持審慎樂觀，堅定不移地推進民主運動。
新增的國家安全立法只會讓香港失去國際都會及金融中心的地位，法治及自由受到嚴峻挑戰。中共政權以散播恐懼及法律所賦予的制度暴力，雖然在短期內達到收緊統治、鞏固權威的效果，但長遠而言，此舉只會促使更加對立的社會關係及國際關係，這些措施只會加速政權統治基礎的崩壞，反而促進一個全新的民主自由社會在這危機爆發的革命噴發而起，新的時代正逐漸來到。
我們需要保持警惕，共同捍衛我們的價值和自由。儘管面臨挑戰，我們不能失去希望和信心。這個困難時期將過去，一個全新的民主自由的香港將會到來。
