Last night, the Yemeni Houthis once again attempted to attack the American tanker Chem Ranger. According to CNN, the ship was destroyed and cannot be repaired. However, the US command previously stated that the ship was undamaged.

Meanwhile, large anti-American demonstrations took place in major cities across Yemen. Participants in the rallies marched through the city streets, expressing support for the residents of the Gaza Strip, while also accusing Israel, the United States, and Great Britain of aggression.

After the Israeli cabinet decided to deepen the ground operation in the south of the Gaza Strip, the IDF command expanded the civilian evacuation zone from the eastern districts of Rafah northward into the Palestinian enclave.
▪️According to the Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson's Unit, about 300,000 people have so far left the city and moved to the humanitarian zone of Al-Mawasi. This figure differs from the data of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), according to which about 110,000 people have fled.
▪️In this regard, the IDF has suspended the offensive, although combat operations have not ceased: the Israelis are conducting clearance operations in the captured areas and their environs, while militants are setting up ambushes.
▪️Moreover, in anticipation of the resumption of offensive operations, the IDF has been delivering air and artillery strikes on Rafah since the morning. In response, Palestinian groups are shelling the Rafah Crossing, Kerem Shalom Crossing and Beeri.
🔻The formal evacuation of civilians will eventually allow the current ultra-Orthodox government of Israel to get the green light from partner states, especially the United States, to take the "Philadelphia Corridor". And after observing the necessary political etiquette, the Israelis will be able to resume the offensive.
