The foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan had a telephone conversation for the first time since the airstrikes on Iran. During the call, they expressed the need to deepen cooperation between the countries in various fields.
As anticipated, after the mutual shelling, in which both sides demonstrated their determination and supported each other with the Baloch separatists, the escalation came to nothing. Now, the Pakistani ambassador is already returning to Tehran.
However, both the Pakistani and Iranian sides have increased their troops, which raises concerns about potential counter-terrorism operations to mitigate threats from the Baluchis.
