#Anger #Management and #Control in #Social and #Behavioral #Sciences: A #Systematic #Review of #Literature on #Biopyschosocial #Model

Abstract
Introduction: #Anger is considered as one of the most important and impressive #emotions throughout human #ontogenic and #phylogenic history. Anger management is one the main domains of #psychology which does not work on triggers, but on reaction to them, so that any given individual which is frequently excited with internal and external activating provocations, can restraint and control her/his anger. The aim of the present study was to #systematically #reviewing research #literature about anger management in order to investigating and identifying varied methods of anger management and control in #Persian and #non-Persian sources.

Methods: In the present systematic review,# keywords include “#anger, #anger_management, #anger_control, #anger_restraint, #anger_handling, #coping_with_anger, #anger_reduction, #anger_prevention, #anger_avoidance, #escape_from_anger” was searched in “#PubMed, #ScienceDirect, #Google_Scholar, #Google_Patent, #MagIran, #SID, #Proquest, #Ebsco, #Springer, #IEEE, #Kolwer, & #IranDoc” search engines and according to relation to study parts, academic publishing, publishing after 1990 and #Jadad system relevant sources were selected. The manuscript then, finalized by evaluation of five experts in anger domain via #Delphi_method.

Results: Systematic literature review of anger management revealed five major methods in #CBT, three #Islamic, and one #eclectic method of anger management in #clinical #settings.

Discussion and Conclusion: There are a few outcome and/or comparative studies about the effect size of varied anger management and control methods, and most of the sources comprise books, Book chapters, and/or instructions. It appears that in future studies, it would be better to include pre-test/post-test sections to assess and evaluate the efficiency of different anger management methods in varied population sectors.

پژوهشگران نوروساینس دانشگاه آریزونا 🇺🇸در تحقیقات اخیر خود به این نتیجه رسیده اند که #شباهتهایی که افراد بین زبانهای مختلف می یابند، در نتیجۀ #ترجیحات #مغزی برای #پردازش بهتر #اطلاعات است.
🔬این پژوهش بر دو گروه که تنها زبان تکلمشان انگلیسی بود صورت گرفت و هر گروه یک زبان جداگانه را تعلیم دیدند.
📚نتایج مشخص ساخت شرکت کنندگان هر دو گروه #طول #جملات را به شکلی نظامدار و بر اساس الگوهای زبانی ترجیحی خود تغییر دادند.
🔎پژوهشگران، به این نتیجه رسیدند که #فرآیندهای #جهانی #زبان در این مقوله #اختصاری سازی نظام دار مشابه دخیلند که ناشی از #سازمان مشابه #پردازش های #زبانی در مغز انسان است. البته لازم به ذکر است برای چنین نتیجه گیری و رسیدن به قواعد #زیرساختی جهانی زبان (مطابق نظریه #چامسکی) لازم است الگوی خلاصه سازی در افراد متکلم به زبانهای مختلف بررسی شوند تا میزان شباهت های آنها باهم ارزیابی شود.

🔆در دنیای امروزی حدوداً 7099 زبان زنده تکلم می شود. حدود یک سوم این زبانها در معرض انقراضند؛ این در حالی است که تنها 23 زبان در بیش از نیمی از جمعیت زمین مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد.

Abstract
#Human #languages #exhibit both #striking #diversity and #abstract #commonalities. Whether these commonalities are shaped by #potentially universal principles of human information processing has been of central interest in the #language and #psychological sciences. Research has identified one such abstract property in the domain of word order: Although sentence word-order preferences vary across languages, the superficially different orders result in short grammatical dependencies between words. Because dependencies are easier to process when they are short rather than long, these findings raise the possibility that languages are shaped by biases of human information processing. In the current study, we directly tested the hypothesized causal link. We found that learners exposed to #novel #miniature #artificial #languages that had unnecessarily long dependencies did not follow the #surface #preference of their #native #language but rather #systematically #restructured the input to reduce #dependency #lengths. These results provide direct evidence for a #causal #link between #processing #preferences in #individual #speakers and #patterns in #linguistic #diversity.

The effect of #neurofeedback training for #sport #performance in #athletes: A #meta-analysis

پژوهشگران دانشگاه گوانگجو 🇨🇳 در فراتحلیلی که به تازگی گزارش آن منتشر شده است توانمندی نوروفیدبک در افزایش راندمان ورزشکان را آزمودند.

🔬در این پژوهش که بر مقالات چاپ شده در #PsycINFO و #PubMed و #Web of Science و بازه زمانی 27 ساله انجام شد، 10 مقاله با تعداد مجموعاً 229 #ورزشکار شاخص های ورودی را یافتند.

📊نتایج نشان دادند نوروفیدبک عملکرد ورزشی و قدرت #EEG را به شکل معناداری افزایش می دهد. اما هنگام مقایسه با گروه های #کنترل #فعال/دارونما، تفاوتی در اعمال نوروفیدبک مشاهده نشده است. بنظر می رسد هنوز #پروتکل های #استاندارد برای بهبود عملکرد ورزشی برای نوروفیدبک موجود نیستند.
