Zionist Israeli airstrike on Zibqin village, south #Lebanon today.

🇮🇱🇱🇧🇵🇸 Regarding the Israeli Air Force strike on Beirut

Just a few hours ago, Israeli troops conducted a targeted airstrike on the Beirut suburb of Ad-Dahiya. The objective of the attack was to eliminate the deputy head of the Hamas Politburo, Saleh al-Arouri.

Along with him, six other individuals lost their lives. According to some Palestinian sources, the leader of Hamas' military wing in South Lebanon, Abu Amer, may also have been among the casualties. However, this information has not yet been confirmed.

In one of the available frames, you can see the fast food restaurants Burger Addict and Food Bae, situated at the intersection of Hassan Nasrallah and Haret Hraik streets. The incident itself occurred just north of that street.

Coordinates: 33.856641,35.513022

🔻Considering the significant presence of American, British, French, and Israeli intelligence in Lebanon, the Israeli strike should not come as a surprise. Lebanon has long been a battleground for various interests, including Lebanese political factions.

It is no secret that many in Lebanon hold negative views towards Hezbollah. Therefore, the attack on the Shiite stronghold of Ad-Dahiya was expected and also serves to demonstrate that Hamas representatives are not safe even under Hezbollah's protection.

We cannot predict Hezbollah's reaction, especially given the recent increase in attacks in the south of Lebanon. As for tomorrow's speech by the leader of the organization, Hassan Nasrallah, it is unlikely to offer anything other than populist threats.

Nevertheless, we must keep in mind that tomorrow marks the fourth anniversary of the assassination of Iranian commander-in-chief Qasem Soleimani. Therefore, in the Middle East, it is reasonable to anticipate increased activity from Iranian proxies in Syria and Iraq. Perhaps the Shiites from Hezbollah will also become involved.

🇮🇱🇱🇧🇵🇸 About the assassination of a high-ranking member of Hezbollah and its significance to the ultra-Orthodox

A week after the attack on the Beirut suburbs, an Israeli drone carried out another targeted strike on Kherbet Selm in the south of the country. This rocket attack resulted in the death of one of the senior commanders of the Rezvan special forces of Hezbollah, Haj Jawad al-Tawil.

Coordinates: 33.22942155964798, 35.42385068265549

🔻Considering the missile strike in Beirut, followed by the terrorist attack in Kerman and now this attack, it becomes evident how determined the Israeli ultra-Orthodox government is in provoking the so-called "axis of resistance" represented by Iran and Hezbollah to retaliate.

In our discussion of the tragedy in Kerman, we pointed out that the ultra-Orthodox can only maintain their power if the war continues, preferably (but not necessarily) with them in the role of the "victim." Attacks like today's against important members of Hezbollah serve precisely this purpose.

❗️In this situation, one should not expect a strong reaction from Hezbollah, as this is exactly what the ultra-Orthodox desire. In military matters, one of the fundamental rules is to thwart the enemy's objectives.

If one is tempted to engage the enemy on their own terms, precisely what should be avoided, it is important to impose one's own conditions. Hassan Nasrallah understands this well, despite the reputational losses he suffers due to his lack of response.

Risking a lot in retaliation for one individual (although respected and significant for the Shiites) would appear to be a very questionable move. This is especially true considering the thousands of civilians who have already lost their lives in Palestine and Lebanon. Strangely, their tragic fate does not seem to concern anyone.

🇮🇱🇱🇧🇵🇸 Lebanese-Israeli border: Hezbollah performs "night of fire" situation as of 18:00, January 27, 2024

The already tense situation on the Lebanese-Israeli border has significantly worsened. This is due to Israeli Air Force strikes on several targets in the southern Lebanon rear areas.

▪️ The Israeli command reported that they have defeated the Hezbollah military complex in Deir Ams, and also hit another group facility in Beit Lifa, resulting in the death of four people.

▪️ In response, Hezbollah fighters have launched rockets at numerous targets along the entire border, which the Israeli media have already labeled as "the night of fire."

▪️ Currently, we know of 12 fire raids, with Israeli strongholds and military bases being the main targets.

▪️ However, the outcome of the fire strike is unknown. The Israeli media has only shown footage of small columns of smoke in the area of several populated areas. It is possible that the strikes were mainly carried out in open areas, creating the desired media effect for the group.

📌Even during the night, we reported a change in Hezbollah's tactics on the border. Previously, the group mainly targeted observation posts and security cameras at the separation barrier. Now, the Lebanese have started attacking more remote IDF electronic reconnaissance facilities.

It is possible that in the near future, Hezbollah fighters will intensify attacks on such infrastructure, including a more widespread use of kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles.

🇱🇧🇮🇱 Hezbollah's Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah, issued a statement yesterday regarding the events unfolding on the Lebanese-Israeli border. The key point: they have the capability to target areas from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat.

A video with a similar theme and translated into Hebrew was released on the media platforms of the Lebanese group. It showcases footage from previous Hezbollah attacks. The vivid imagery might suggest a threat of sparking conflict across all of Israel.

While such threats are not new, the situation in northern Israel, though tense, is not currently at a critical level of escalation. Hezbollah carries out attacks regularly, with occasional incidents resulting in casualties among the local population and the IDF.

Therefore, it is unlikely that the "axis of resistance" fighters will unleash all their missiles on the Jewish state in this instance. Typically, the conflict will be limited to mutual exchanges of fire and occasional reprisals such as Safed and Nabatiyah.

🇮🇱🇱🇧 A couple of hours after the airstrike on Baalbek, the Israelis once again struck deep into the rear of Lebanon. This time, they targeted the city of As-Suwairi, situated on the border with Syria.

An Israeli drone struck a car, resulting in the deaths of at least two people, one of whom was Syrian. Currently, efforts are underway to establish the precise circumstances of the incident.

🔻It is likely that the IDF will announce the elimination of another Hezbollah commander, while the Lebanese group, irrespective of the victims' status, is poised to launch another mass strike on Israel.

This is particularly significant following the morning Israeli air raid on Baalbek, which was followed by a barrage of at least 50 rockets fired from the Lebanese side into the occupied Golan Heights.

⚡️🇮🇱🇵🇸⚔️ Escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Zone until the End of 27 June 2024⚡️

🔹In the north of the #GazaStrip, the IDF unexpectedly began an offensive in the Al-Judaida area in the southeast of the capital of the Palestinian enclave. The Israelis advanced along Abu al-Qass Street and reached the Tunis Cemetery.

🔹In the south of the Enclave, IDF units continue the operation in Rafah. Major fighting continues to take place in Tell al-Sultan and the al-Shaboura Camp, where Israelis are fighting along Taha Hassein Street and at the Al-Najma Crossing.

🔹In the West Bank, traditional raids by Israeli security forces took place, detaining about 30 people. And in Jenin, local militants staged several ambushes, as a result of which one IDF militant has been killed and 22 more were injured.

🔹Along the border with #Lebanon, the tense situation remains. Israeli artillery and aviation worked on border and rear settlements in southern #Lebanon. In turn, Hezbollah attacked IDF targets.

🔹In #Syria, the Israeli Air Force again carried out launches in the outskirts of Damascus, hitting the building of an Iranian construction company in Seyda Zeinab. And in the very south of #Syria, an air defence radar in Tell al-San was hit.

❗️🇮🇱🇱🇧 So, the death of Fuad Shukri has been officially confirmed by Hezbollah's press service. The hopes of many Arabic-speaking commentators that one of the group's leaders had survived have been dashed.

Shukri's death is the biggest loss in terms of status, given that he was considered the second-in-command of the organization. And this fact essentially obliges a serious response.

Against this background, the US State Department has already called on American citizens to refrain from traveling to Lebanon in anticipation of Hezbollah's response. In northern Israel, everyone is on alert to repel massive strikes.

🔻As we can see, the Israelis are consistently raising the level of tension. Literally a few months ago, the targets of the attacks were low-level commanders, and now they are the very leaders of the group.

Where all this is leading - we think there's no need to explain. The current Israeli authorities need a continuation of the war by any means to maintain power. First, the killing of the second-in-command after Nasrallah, and then the head of Hamas, and voila - just wait for the reaction.

And then it will always be possible to say that the outbreak of war is the work of Iran and its proxies, and the Israelis were just defending themselves.
