🔹 In #Pyatikhatki, southeast of #Kamenskoye, intense fighting has been going on for more than a day now. Company groups of the AFU's 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade have tried several times to gain a foothold in the village, losing several dozen men.

▪️ In the early hours of the morning, Ukrainian paratroopers resumed their assault with artillery support. Having set up a smokescreen, the AFU units from the direction of #Lobkovoye again launched an assault on #Pyatikhatki.
➖ The Russian fighters were forced to retreat to reserve positions on the surrounding heights, but soon they launched a counterattack and, as of 11:00, were clearing #Pyatikhatki.

📌 The Ukrainian formations do not count their losses and pelt the frontline with bodies (in fact, the Russian positions were taken not by quality but by quantity). According to reports from the field, there is practically no Western equipment on the site, only a few pickup trucks and Soviet IFVs. Army aviation is working on the enemy assault groups.

🔹South of #Orekhov, the enemy resumed its attack on the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line, where previously the assault groups of the AFU's 47th and 33rd Mechanized Brigades had failed to advance.

▪️ After an artillery barrage, the Ukrainian armoured groups advanced towards the positions of the 291st and 70th Regiments of the RF Armed Forces.
➖ Russia fighters are on the frontline, artillery and aviation are working non-stop. The cannonade does not subside for a minute. A column of armoured vehicles, including 2 tanks and 3 IVFs, was destroyed south of Malaya Tokmachka. The fighting continues.

The situation at the end of the day on June 20, 2023

This morning, the armored group of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU entered the village of Pyatikhatki, which was located in the gray zone, and from there the infantry swooped down and tried to break through to Zherebyanki.

As a result of the ensuing battle, the offensive was stopped, and the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade Brigade retreated to its original positions. Neither the Russian Armed Forces nor the AFU have confident control over the Pyatikhatki. At the same time, the confirmed losses of the enemy amounted to 57 people killed.

🔻Ukrainian formations also carried out a sortie at the Rabotino-Verbove line, trying to break into the defense of the Russian Armed Forces, using the already standard tactics of transferring infantry to the front line with armored vehicles.

The assault groups of the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the AFU took part in the attack, which could not gain a foothold and retreated with losses. The number of refuseniks is growing in the ranks of Ukrainian formations, including in the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the 9th Army Corps of the AFU. They were replaced by the 25th assault battalion of the formation.

❗️The number of confirmed losses in equipment in the "elite" 47 brigade exceeded more than 100 units. This is confirmed by the transfer to the command of the commander of the Mechanized Brigade of the tank battalion of the 33rd mechanized brigade, which arrived at Orekhovo.

In addition, units of the 71st Jaeger Brigade of the AFU from the Marun tactical group were transferred to Yegorovka. Earlier, paratroopers of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade had already appeared in the same area. The appearance of formations from the "Marun" indicates the imminent activation of the AFU in the Gulyaipole sector of the front.

Both Rabotino itself and the nearby Russian Armed Forces positions continue to be attacked by Ukrainian formations. ▪️ At the same time, Ukrainian formations continue to press on Russian positions east of Rabotino. Judging by the scale of the artillery preparation, the enemy will soon try to storm and break through to Verbovoye in order to create a threat from the rear to the forces of the Russian Armed Forces Forces in Novopokrovka and Novokarlovka.

▪️ In Pyatikhatki, the tactics of the AFU remain the same as two months ago: the enemy is trying to enter with reconnaissance groups and gain a foothold in an abandoned settlement. Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces detect activity and strike at enemy manpower.

🔻At the turn of Rabotino - Verbovoe, Ukrainian formations cannot break through the line of defense of the Russian army for a week. There are tactical successes, but it was not possible to capture Rabotino, and they never entered the Verbovoye Armed Forces of Ukraine.

All yesterday, Ukrainian air assault brigades attacked with consolidated infantry groups either east of Rabotino or west of Verbovoye. What is there, that it was not possible to gain a foothold there, some of the assault groups of the 82nd odshbr refused to fight, and one of the commanders was taken prisoner.

The number of losses in the Maroon tactical group is growing. Now, for the first time in a long time, units of the 71st Jaeger Brigade have appeared at the line of contact, which have been re-equipped since the battle for Bakhmut.

🔻And, looking at the movements of reinforcements (which are also noted near Lobkove, where vacations were suspended for the 128th Guards Rifle Brigade), one gets the impression that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for a new attack on a wide front.

And this time more widespread. Mobile fire groups have been deployed to Malaya Tokmachka to cover ground forces, and the destruction of the British Challenger (confirmed by Forbes) indicates their movement to the LBS.

Probably, the tank was moving to its original position before the offensive, which should begin in the near future, but came under a precise strike from the artillerymen of the Russian Armed Forces.

❗️The military campaign of the Ukrainian troops in the south of Ukraine depends on the successes in this area, since operations in the Kherson region are possible only with the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Tokmak.
