Russian troops once again initiated a series of attacks on rear areas within the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime. The focus was on energy infrastructure facilities, particularly targeting the Kremenchug Hydroelectric Station in Poltava Oblast. Explosions also took place at similar facilities in other regions.
Simultaneously, Ukrainian forces continued shelling border regions, including settlements in Belgorod Oblast. In Belgorod, a drone struck a residential building, resulting in the death of one civilian.
In Bakhmut sector, the enemy launched unsuccessful counterattacks towards Ivanovsky (Krasny), while Aerospace Forces aircraft conducted multiple strikes on targets in the vicinity of Chasov Yar and Konstantinovka.
In Avdeevka sector, the Russian Armed Forces successfully adjusted the front line configuration east of the Tonenke - Vodyane line. The offensive is ongoing towards Umansky. The deployment of Russian robotic platforms armed with weapons was also observed in the area.
In Donetsk sector, assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces entrenched themselves in the center of Georgievka, while the opposing forces retreated to prepared positions on the premises of the Selkhozkhimiya enterprise.

For the first time since the commencement of the SMO, Ukrainian forces conducted a drone raid on the territory of Tatarstan: targeting oil refineries in Yelabuga and Neftekamsk, as well as an industrial facility in the special economic zone "Alabuga."
Simultaneously, the Russian Armed Forces launched strikes on targets in the rear areas of Ukraine. Explosions were reported in Dnepropetrovsk, and one attack damaged a substation in Kirovograd.
In the Avdeevsky sector, Russian forces engaged Ukrainian troops along the Durnaya River, securing a position on the southern outskirts of Semenovka. They also made advancements to Berdychi, while the AFU relocated some of their forces to Novobakhmutovka.
In the Bakhmut area, Russian troops are pushing towards Chasiv Yar, which is only a few hundred meters away in a straight line. Near Krasny, the AFU tried to destroy a bridge using a mined tracked robotic platform.
On the Vuhledar front, clashes took place at the first line of dacha development in the Mashinostroitel gardening partnership north of Novomikhailovka.

The Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out strikes against identified targets in the front-line zone of the Kharkiv region and in the territory of the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), while the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have reduced the intensity of shelling the Russian border area.
In the Seversk sector, positional battles are taking place on the approaches to the chalk quarry dump east of Belogorovka, as well as in the area of the filtration station. The enemy is assembling a troop group in the nearby rear, likely in preparation for a defense breach.
In the Bakhmut sector, Russian troops are advancing towards Chasiv Yar from the eastern side, launching a heavy artillery strike on AFU positions in the Kanal microdistrict. There are also engagements in the Stupki-Golubovskie forest zone.
In the Avdiivka sector, clashes were observed along the Semenivka - Berdychiv line, with rocket artillery supporting the Russian Armed Forces. To the west of Tonenke, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing towards Umansky.
In the Zaporizhia sector, the enemy is establishing a second line of defense in the Orekhov area. Russian troops, in turn, are actively and effectively using Lancet missiles, including against Ukrainian tanks.
In the Kherson sector, Ukrainian marines are holding positions in Krynychky. The group is resupplied by air with equipment dropped from drones. Simultaneously, the AFU have deployed over 60 attack drones to the front line.

▪️Currently, the Russian Armed Forces are clearing the remaining enemy forces, while the majority of the grouping fled in the direction of the settlement of Sokol. From there, the AFU are firing at our troops.
▪️The liberation of Solovyovo against the backdrop of fighting on the western outskirts of Ocheretyne creates very bleak prospects for the Ukrainian formations, as Solovyovo is located on the Ocheretyne gully, which was a natural fortification.
❗️After the completion of the clearing operation, the Russian troops may push Ocheretyne further, attacking the AFU positions from the south, as well as advance along the hedgerows and the gully towards Novopokrovske, which will also create a threat to the remnants of the enemy in Berdychi.

After the liberation of Solovyovo and Novobakhmutivka, the Russian forces continue to develop their success north of Avdiivka.
▪️During the day, the Russian Armed Forces were able to push the enemy out of the village of Semenivka: footage has appeared online of the flag being installed on one of the semi-destroyed houses in the center of the settlement.
▪️The remnants of the AFU infantry, under artillery and drone fire, retreated from the northern outskirts of the village westward towards Novopokrovske. The forest belts adjacent to Semenivka have also partially come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
▪️The Russian troops also managed to advance in Berdychi: at the moment, fighting is taking place on the westernmost outskirts of the settlement. However, the enemy is unlikely to be able to hold positions there for long due to its retreat from Semenivka.
The next line of attack for the Russian Armed Forces will most likely be the forest belts in the area of Novopokrovske - Novosilka Persha, where Ukrainian formations are now hastily building up their defenses.

After clearing Ocheretyne and Keramik, Russian forces completed the operation to liberate the village of Arkhanhel'ske. Combat operations in the direction of the settlement began a week ago, with advance groups of special forces units entering it immediately after the clearing of Ocheretyne, but full control was only established overnight.
▪️The offensive was carried out in several stages, with simultaneous reinforcement of groups both through the gully from the direction of Ocheretyne and through the fields. On May 3, other groups were brought up from the direction of Keramik, which completed the operation to encircle the village and effectively expel the enemy from the settlement.
▪️Footage of the destruction of fleeing Ukrainian formations was published the day before: it shows the organized retreat of AFU personnel under the fire of Russian artillery. Such a video has already caused an outcry in the Ukrainian information space, demotivating enemy units operating in other sectors of the front.
▪️Clearing of the fields south of Arkhanhel'ske has also been completed: the enemy abandoned their positions and retreated.
📌At the moment, Russian units are digging in and consolidating on the occupied lines, bringing up reserves and building logistics through Ocheretyne and Novokalynove. Reinforcements are being transferred to the area of responsibility of the 1st Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces to develop the offensive potential.
Judging by publications in the Ukrainian segment, the General Staff of the AFU is confident that the plan of the Russian Armed Forces is to deliver counter-strikes through the fields with a bypass of Toretsk and New York towards Kostyantynivka and the closure of the cauldron from the direction of Klishchiyivka.

▪️Russian troops launched another missile attack on Aviators'ke airfield in Dnipro. As a result of the hit, the MiG-29 fighter was destroyed.
▪️Throughout the week, Russian Armed Forces inflicted damage on enemy targets in Kharkiv. One of the targets was a railway depot in Osnovianskyi district, as well as an industrial zone located nearby.
▪️Russian troops also attacked elements of the enemy's power infrastructure. In Shostka, drones hit the territory of a central heating power plant, and in Konotop damaged one of the electrical substations.
▪️Ukrainian units, in turn, resumed attacks on the territory of the LPR after a short break. In the suburbs of Luhansk, one of the Storm Shadow missiles hit the building of the former Academy of Internal Affairs, and in Dovzhansk, ATACMS missiles hit a fuel depot.
▪️The enemy also attempted to attack facilities in the Republic of Tatarstan. Both drones were shot down by air defence forces in the area of Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk, destruction and casualties were avoided.
▪️At the same time, the enemy does not stop making combined raids on Crimea. Two civilians were killed in a missile attack in Simferopol. In Alushta, missiles hit an empty building, and naval aviation sank three USVs near Sevastopol.
