Is Vitamin D deficiency linked to stress?
Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin, is widely known for its ability to help keep bones healthy and strong, promotes cell growth, and benefits immune function.
Vitamin D is not believed to affect anxiety directly. Though it may be correlated with higher anxiety levels.
Researchers have found that many people who have depression/anxiety/stress also have low circulating levels of vitamin D in their blood. Researchers have also found possible associations between depression/stress/anxiety and low vitamin D levels in people with gout, chronic spinal cord injuries, stroke, and multiple sclerosis.Low levels of vitamin D have been associated with low mood, behavioral difficulties in children, and psychological difficulties in adults such as feelings of anxiety.
Optimal vitamin D levels can help improve your mood, boost your overall brain function, and generally improve your well-being.

One of the most crucial lifestyle changes you can make is spending more time in nature. Itβs also important to bring nature to your indoor pets! Grounding, breathing in fresh air, and soaking up Vitamin D are essential for both your physical and mental well-being. Make getting outside a priority every day! πΎβοΈ
