The report covers the first phase of hostilities immediately preceding the ground invasion. Since 7 October 2023, Israeli forces have been conducting a large-scale and unprecedented military offensive from the air, land, and sea, targeting civilians and civilian objects, and killing and injuring thousands of Palestinians. Horrific mass killings have been committed against Palestinians in Gaza’s hospitals, churches and shelters. Thousands of homes have been destroyed, and 70 percent of the population have been displaced from their homes. Further, the Israeli authorities have cut off electricity, food, water, and fuel from #Gaza’s population.
