In 2022, ICAHD analysis revealed that over 926 structures were demolished and 953 people displaced in the OPT with a further 28,255 people directly affected.

In the Old City of Jerusalem, Nora Gaith (68) and Mostafa Sub Laban (72) are awaiting the enforcement of a recent Israeli court decision to forcibly expel them from their home. June 11 was the date the Israeli authorities gave to the family to voluntarily leave their home, the latter refuse and continue to stay there. However, similar to the experience of other Palestinian families in the past, the Sub Laban family expects the court decision to be violently and brutally carried out at any moment.

Al-Baq’ah, Ramallah District: another Palestinian community is forcibly transferred, 10.7.23 | Btselem

On Monday, 10 July 2023, the Palestinian Bedouin shepherding community of al-Baq’ah, to the east of Ramallah, was forcibly expelled transferred. In the days leading up to Monday, This expulsion was preceded by daily attacks by settlers from who had established an outpost next to al-Baq’ah, . This outpost was one of seven outposts established after the pogrom in Turmusaya on 21 June 2023, attacked the community daily. On Friday, 7 July 2023, while no one was in the home, one of the residential tents a tent home in the community was set on fire while no one was in.  

Thirty-three people lived in the community of al-Baq’ah was home to 33 people, including 21 minors. The residents, who disassembled their homes and the community’s livestock enclosuresanimal pens yesterday, explained to told B’Tselem field researchers that they feared for their lives and that there was no one body to protect them
