Queues at a filling station in #KhanYounis have reportedly extended for about 2 kilometres, with people waiting at them overnight. Meanwhile, reports indicate that people are burning doors and window frames to cook.

Bisan Owda, a video journalist in Gaza, takes us inside the UN schools that now act as shelters for over 1 million displaced Palestinians. The schools are severely overcrowded and lack proper sanitation — as many as 160 people are forced to share a single toilet. Some shelters have seen outbreaks of #cholera and #hepatitis.

But even these shelters are not safe — Israel is now demanding that the Palestinians sheltering in #KhanYounis flee farther south to #Rafah.

Hundreds of thousands of children in Gaza are experiencing psychological #trauma as a result of Israeli attacks. To ease their suffering, a group of traditional Palestinian #storytellers has organised musical entertainment for young people at a school in #KhanYounis, in southern Gaza.

🇵🇸 Israel continues to shell near Nasser Hospital, the largest functioning hospital in Gaza | MEE

Doctors Without Borders said that Israel bombed Nasser hospital in #KhanYounis with no prior evacuation warning for the thousands of displaced civilians who were sheltering there.

“The situation is catastrophic,” #MSF Head of Mission for Palestine Leo Cans said. “There are way too many #patients for the staff to handle.” He added that the hospital was operating at 300% capacity.
