Geneva - The Israeli army has turned schools sheltering tens of thousands of displaced people into military centres and field execution sites as part of its ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, which began on 7 October, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said on Wednesday.

Euro-Med Monitor received testimonies about Israeli army forces carrying out unjustified field executions and killings of Palestinian civilians after detaining them for days inside the same schools where they had sought refuge from the violence.

🇵🇸 Nearly Half of All Israeli Munitions Dropped on Gaza are Imprecise 'Dumb' Bombs

Nearly half of the air-to-ground munitions Israel has dropped on the Gaza Strip are unguided or “dumb” bombs, CNN reported Thursday, citing a US intelligence assessment.

The report said Israel had used 29,000 air-to-ground munitions in its bombardment of Gaza, a total that does not include artillery shells and tank munitions that are also being fired on the Strip. The assessment from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence found 40-45% of the 29,000 munitions have been dumb bombs, and the rest have been precise guided munitions.

#UnguidedMunitions are less precise and are generally considered more of a threat to civilians, but Israel is also slaughtering civilians with precision-guided #munitions. A report from +972 Magazine revealed Israel is purposefully targeting civilian areas and launching strikes that might kill one Hamas commander, knowing hundreds of civilians will be killed.

There is a long history of Israeli soldiers vandalising the homes of Palestinians they invade,” Laleh Khalili, an academic and researcher at the University of Exeter, told MEE.

“During the Nakba and successive wars of conquest in the historic lands of Palestine, in Lebanon in the early 1980s, and the Occupied Palestinian Territories during successive invasions, such behaviour has been rife,” she added.

“Israeli soldiers have left graffiti - often using quite violent, even genocidal, language; defecated in kitchens; looted valuable personal items; destroyed everyday objects and belongings; and taken trophy photographs of themselves.”

🇵🇸 Palestinian says soldiers sent him into Hamas tunnel strapped with bombs | Middle East Eye –

In a distressing testimony, one of Gaza's innocent detainees recounts being forced to wear an explosive vest and enter a tunnel, serving as a human shield for the Israeli army in Gaza.

"He forced me to wear the vest, which was equipped with IEDs and a GoPro camera, and secured a rope around my waist, guiding me down into the tunnel."

Hakim, who prefers to remain anonymous, further disclosed, "They didn't hesitate to send me down the tunnel. A 15-year-old boy was also forced into the same situation, and the boy who was detained with me survived and was released days later."

🇵🇸 “They tortured us, subjected us to electric shocks. We suffered a lot.”

Some 60 Palestinian men detained by Israeli forces returned to Gaza on Monday, entering the territory through the recently opened Kerem Shalom crossing.

All of the men said they were tortured in an unspecified facility in southern Israel. One of the released detainees said that many of them were employees of the Palestinian Authority.

Geneva - Israeli army forces have carried out field executions against civilians during raids on Palestinian homes in the Gaza Strip, according to shocking testimonies received by the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.

Euro-Med Monitor obtained horrific testimonies of Israeli army forces raiding the Anan family’s home in central Gaza City on Tuesday 19 December. The Israeli forces reportedly opened fire at multiple young men inside the house, for no apparent reason and with no resistance from the victims, and gathered multiple women in a single room before firing a number of missiles, injuring many of them.

🇵🇸 UN urges Israel to investigate allegations its army 'executed' 11 unarmed Palestinians in Gaza City

Eyewitnesses say Israeli Forces killed 11 unarmed men in front of their families, before rounding up the women and children and attacking them.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OHCHR OPT) has warned that the alleged assault on Tuesday on homes in Gaza City could constitute a war crime.
It is calling for an independent investigation into the allegations.

Al Jazeera spoke to several eyewitnesses.
