[POLL] #2399: What role/offer to choose as a new graduate who intend to switch to a product/project management role in future?

Hi,

I am a fresh graduate in Singapore and have 2 offers on hand.

1) Site Reliability Engineer by Bytedance
2) Backend Engineer by Sea Ltd.

Total Compensation is higher by bytedance.

In future, I highly see myself switching to a PM role.

Which offer should I choose?

I like backend role more but bytedance has much more kick to its name and more annual compensation.

But backend role is more versatile and seems more PM are ex-backend than ex-SRE
