⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦💥 About the Missile Attack on #Zaporozhye⚡️

At around half past twelve on 22 Mar 2023, several explosions thundered in the Aleksandrovsky district of the leftbank part of #Zaporozhye. Residents reported 5-6 arrivals in the residential area near the Coastal Highway.

Judging by video from the scene, one of the shells hit the junction of residential buildings 2A and 2B on Zaporozhskaya Street and destroyed the balcony sections. Some time later fire broke out in several damaged flats. It could have been caused by ignition of electric generators, which locals often place just on balconies.

Local media report that 31 people were injured. There were no civilian fatalities.

🔹What was that?

When breaking down the video of the arrival by frames, you can see that the ammunition has an elongated shape with a small tail. In terms of the ratio of length and diameter, it strongly resembles a large-caliber MLRS projectile.

The direction of impact and nature of the damage suggests that the launching position was located somewhere between #Dneprorudnoye and #Vasilyevka near the shore of the Kakhovka reservoir. The distance to #Zaporozhye is approximately 50 km, which corresponds to the range of Smerch MLRS.

Later, photos from the roof of a neighbouring house appeared, where another unexploded ordnance was allegedly discerned. However, it later turned out that the missile was an ordinary solar panel, which was simply filmed from the "right" angle.

📌 Residential Buildings were not the target of the raid. It is more likely that they were hit either as a result of a targeting error, or due to the condition of the ammunition.

And in any case, with the ongoing problems with ammunition, wasting rockets on residential areas is a luxury that the RF Armed Forces simply can't afford.

🔹 What could have been the real target of the attack?

At first glance, there really are no military facilities or critical infrastructure near the massif that came under fire. However, there are a large number of warehouses within 500 meters, including the cargo department of Novaya Pochta.
Its length-to-diameter ratio strongly resembles that of a large-calibre MLRS projectile.

The direction of impact and nature of the damage suggests that the launching position was located somewhere between Dneproprodnoye and Vasylivka near the shore of the Kakhovka reservoir. The distance to Zaporizhzhya is approximately 50 km, which corresponds to the range of Smerch MLRS.

Later, photos from the roof of a neighbouring house appeared, where another unexploded ordnance was allegedly discerned. However, it later turned out that the missile was an ordinary solar panel, which was simply filmed from the "right" angle.

The company has long been involved in the transportation and delivery of ammunition and other cargo for the AFU, which has caused its terminals to be hit more than once. It is quite possible that this facility was the real target of the missile attack.

▪️ Ukrainian formations are attempting counterattacks, trying to regain lost territories.

▪️ In the south of #Bakhmut, fighters of the Wagner PMC are battling in the area of Schools No. 2 and No. 40 on Chaykovsky Street.

▪️ Southwest of #Bakhmut, Russian troops continue to storm AFU positions on the outskirts of #Krasnoye, as well as near the highway to #Konstantinovka.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ Units of the RF Armed Forces continue their operation to cover the AFU grouping in #Avdeyevka. Russian aviation is carrying out massive strikes with guided aerial bombs against enemy positions in the city.

▪️ In #Maryinka, Russian forces are fighting near the Tyre-Repair Plant after levelling the frontline along Druzhba Avenue.

▪️ The Ukrainian terrorist formations continue indiscriminate shelling of the #Donetsk agglomeration.
➖ In #Yasinovataya, more than ten residential buildings and a kindergarten have been hit.Two people were killed and 14 wounded.

🔹#Zaporozhye Direction:

▪️ Near #Gulyaypole, the Russian Aerospace Forces hit the building of ZapAgroTech, an agricultural equipment manufacturing company, with a high-precision munition. It is highly probable that there was an armament or equipment depot on the territory of the enterprise.

▪️ At the #Orekhov grain elevator, Russian forces carried out precision strikes against hangars containing HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and barrel artillery. The equipment had previously been moved into the city for use in an upcoming counteroffensive.

🔹#Kherson Direction on #SouthFront:

▪️ On the southern section of the front, artillery duels along the line of contact continue, with the RF Armed Forces striking #Kherson and its environs and also used guided aerial bombs on enemy facilities in #Berislav.
➖ In turn, the Ukrainian terror formations shelled settlements on the left bank of the #Dnieper River, including Novaya Kakhovka, #Vasilyevka and #Pokrovskoye.

🔹#Crimea:

▪️ In the vicinity of #Feodosia, Russian air defences intercepted a missile fired from the Thunder-2 MLRS, with no casualties.

🔸Political Events:

☦️ The Ukrainian authorities continue the policy of ousting the canonical UOC-MP from public life.

▪️ In the Khmelnytsky region, St. Michael's Cathedral in #Shepetovka was captured, and the assault on the Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral in Kamenetz-Podolsky continues.

▪️ In the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra on the occasion of Palm Sunday, two services were held simultaneously. Schismatics held a service in the Refectory Church, parishioners of the UOC-MP in the courtyard.

🔹#Bakhmut:

There is no cauldron at the moment. The situation of an operational encirclement persists. The enemy is attempting to push back our troops from the route west of #Khromovo. Our troops, in their turn, repel enemy counterattacks and attempt to pass over the highway.
#Khromovo, #Bogdanovka and #Orekhovo-Vasilyevka are under the control of the AFU.
The grouping in the city is supplied via a dirt road and fields between #Khromovo and #Krasnoye. The road through #Krasnoye is shot through.
In the city itself, the Wagner PMCs continue to methodically mop up neighbourhoods, pushing the AFU towards a multistorey building area on the outskirts.
The AFU are suffering heavy losses in the city and to the west of it, up to 300-400 men a day + a large amount of equipment.

🔹#Avdeyevka:

The main battles were fought to the west and north of #Krasnogorovka.
The enemy is actively shelling the bulge that has formed in order to prevent the RF Armed Forces from accumulating forces here to strike #Orlovka.
There was no change in #Avdeyevka itself.
To the south, the storming of #Pervomayskoye continued, as well as fighting for the fortifications near #Nevelskoye and north of #Vodyanoye in the direction of #Tonenkoye, which covers #Orlovka from the south. There is no operational encirclement, the enemy is quite free to bring reinforcements and ammunition to #Avdeyevka.

🔹#Seversk:

Fighting continues near #Vasyukovka, #Razdolovka, #Veseloye, #Spornoye and #Belogorovka.
#Spornoye is still in the hands of the AFU, although a number of positions near the settlement have been abandoned. The enemy also continues to amass forces on the #Seversk ledge, with a certain potential for counterattack action.

🔹#Maryinka:

Positional fighting continued in the western part of the town. The enemy notes increased pressure in the town and in the north, where the RF Armed Forces deployed fresh units. The nature of hostilities did not change fundamentally.

🔹#Ugledar:

The fighting near #Ugledar and #Novomikhaylovka is of a positional nature.
Occasional local shifts in favor of one of the sides do not fundamentally change the general course of events. Artillery is seriously limiting the offensive actions of both sides.
There are also no changes at #Novomikhaylovka and #Pobeda.

🔹#Kupyansk:

The fighting is of a positional nature.
#Dvurechnaya and #Sinkovka are still under AFU control. After our hasty advance on the eastern bank of the river, events here have slowed down again.
The enemy strengthened the front and #Kupyansk itself in case the RF Armed Forces break through #Sinkovka.

🔹#Svatovo:

Fighting continued on the outskirts of #Makeyevka, towards #Nevskoye and near #Kuzemovka.
The enemy periodically attempted to advance towards #Chervonopopovka.
In the forests near #Kremennaya, our troops are conducting assault actions, pushing through a network of AFU strongholds.

🔹#Zaporozhye:

There are no serious changes on the frontline.
Some aggravation near #Marfopol did not lead to any serious movements. The main positions remain where they were before.
The AFU continues to shell #Pologi, #Tokmak, #Vasilyevka, as well as the #Zaporozhye NPP area.
The RF Armed Forces continue to shell #Zaporozhye, #Orekhov, #Kamenskoye and #Gulyaypole.

🔹#Kherson:

The enemy continues to be active near Bolshoy Potemkin and #Alyoshki, sending in SRGs by boat and regularly marking their presence on the shore. The reaction of the RF Armed Forces to amphibious assaults is being probed. The accumulation of various crossing facilities on the #Dnieper River continues in case of a scenario of stalling actions with crossing the #Dnieper simultaneously with a potential strike in the #Zaporozhye direction.
The RF Armed Forces continue to process AF positions in #Kherson, #Chernovbayevka, #Berislav and other points on the Right Bank.

➖ Our troops have not entered #Khromovo so far. The enemy maintains control over #Krasnoye, #Bogdanovka and Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, throwing reserves into the fight.

🔹2. In the #Avdeyevka Sector, there are small tactical movements near #Krasnogorovka and #Nevelskoye in our favour.
➖ The enemy periodically counterattacks. There is still quite a long way to go before #Avdeyevka is operationally encircled.

🔹3. In the #Zaporozhye Direction there is an accumulation of enemy reserves in the area of #Zaporozhye and #Gulyaypole.
➖ After the end of the muddy weather we can expect offensive activity of the enemy in the direction of #Pologi, #Tokmak and #Vasilyevka + possibly repeated attempts to land troops near #Energodar, Nova Kakhovka and #Alyoshki.

🔹4. In the Svatovo Direction, positional fighting with some initiative in our favour in the wooded area to the west of #Kremennaya and in the Makeyevka area.
➖ The enemy is preparing to resume attacks in the direction of #Chervonopopovka.

🔹5. The RF Armed Forces are intensifying their strikes in the #Slavyansk - #Kramatorsk agglomeration, as well as in the #Zaporozhye, #Kharkov, #Sumy and #Kherson regions.

📌 6. The Fighting on the Front should be expected to intensify in early May after the mudslide factor has abated and the parties' forces have completed their concentration for the summer campaign.

▪️ In #Sevastopol, the FSB prevented an act of terrorism in the #Simferopol Naval Hospital. Explosive devices were seized from the detainee.

▪️ In the #Artyomovsk sector, the Wagner PMC advanced up to 160m, suffering heavy losses due to a shortage of shells for artillery support, Prigozhin said.

🔵 The Enemy attacked the Supreme's residence in the #Kremlin yesterday with two UAVs. Footage of one of them exploding near the dome was caught on video footage. Zelensky had gone to #Finland before the attack, and threatening statements from Russian officials have been made.

▪️ In the #Zaporozhye direction the enemy conducted a limited reconnaissance battle south of #Orekhov last night. It was met with fire, suffered losses and withdrew.

▪️ In the #Crimea our air defence system worked near #Feodosia. Objects of the enemy were destroyed, no casualties.

▪️ In the #Rostov region, the AFU attacked the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant at night. A UAV crashed into the structures of the plant's inter-workshop trestle and then exploded. The fire was extinguished immediately.

▪️ In the #Krasnodar edge, the Ilsky Oil Refinery was attacked. The refinery caught fire due to a Ukrainian drone strike.

🔴 The RF Armed Forces have launched overnight strikes against targets in #Ukraine using Geran UAVs and missile weapons. The blasts took place in #Dnepropetrovsk, #Kharkiv, #Kherson, #Kiev, #Cherkassy, #Zaporozhye regions.

▪️ The Wagner PMC is withdrawing its units from #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut). By 1 June, the main part is being relocated to the rear camps. Positions are being handed over to the military, including BCs (Ammo Depots) and dry rations.

🔵 In the #Zaporozhye region, the enemy attacked peaceful towns, explosions were heard in #Berdyansk, #Tokmak and #Vasilyevka. Activation of enemy radio networks was recorded.
💥 Our troops carried out strikes on AFU facilities in #Orekhov using guided bombs and Lancet UAVs.

▪️ In the #Belgorod region, #Grayvoron, #Shebekino, #Belgorod and Volokonovsky districts came under fire.

▪️ In #Krasnodar, an enemy UAV exploded in the morning, damaging a building on Morskaya Street. There were no casualties. It is reported that another drone may have been shot down in mid-air.

▪️ In the #Rostov Region, the enemy attempted to attack a military airfield in #Morozovsk. The target was shot down by an air defence system.

▪️ Overnight there were reports of RFArmed Forces strikes on targets in #Lvov and #Ternopil regions. Enemy resources wrote of Kalibre launches from the waters of the Black Sea.

▪️ On the southern flank of the #Bakhmut direction heavy fighting continues for heights and wooded areas near #Kleshchiyevka.

▪️ In the #Orekhov section of the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy does not cease artillery strikes and moves equipment to the line of contact. In the evening, the enemy launched an attack. AFU infantry is being brought in and the RF Armed Forces are striking at identified targets. The attacks by the AFU near #Rabotino were repulsed.

▪️ In the #SouthDonetsk direction in the area of #Vremyevka ledge, the AFU attacked near #Staromayorskoye and #Urozhaynoye, achieving no success.

▪️ In the #Kamenskoye sector of the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy is also concentrating its forces, with the possibility of shifting the direction of the main attack by the AFU with the aim of reaching #Vasilyevka. Yesterday up to 4 waves of enemy attacking forces were destroyed near the town of #Pyatikhatki, engaging from a platoon to a company each of the attacks.

▪️ In the area near #Kremennaya, the RF Armed Forces continue to deter enemy attempts, supported by armoured vehicles, to break through the frontline. Our TOS Solntepek are working.

▪️ During the night, a massive strike was carried out in #Odessa region, the RF Armed Forces destroyed port infrastructure, fuel and lubricant depots and enemy air defence systems with "geraniums" and missiles. Explosions were also heard in the #Kiev, #Zaporozhye, #Kharkov, #Kherson regions. Strategic aviation was used to launch Kh-22 missiles. Kalibrs were used.

▪️ In the #Vremyevka sector of the #SouthDonetsk front, the AFU tried to break through the defence in the area of #Staromayorskoye, #Priyutnoye and #Urozhaynoye, leaving no expectation of further interrupting land communication with #Crimea. Heavy battles are going on.

▪️ In the #Orekhov section of the #Zaporozhye front, armoured vehicles manufactured by #NATO countries and the enemy's pickup trucks are being destroyed. The AFU is taking care of armoured vehicles, the enemy infantry is trying to move in small groups through wooded areas. The enemy units have not achieved success.

▪️ In the #Kamenskoye sector, the AFU is accumulating forces near #Stepnogorsk, pulling up equipment and air defence systems, counter-battery firing stations, and does not abandon the plan to break through to #Vasilyevka and a flank attack through #Pyatikhatki. They are preparing for the resumption of the offensive, for a month and a half of which they have not achieved any successes, except for the occupation of the grey zone.

▪️ In the #Kupyansk sector, where the RF Armed Forces have advanced towards the city, the successes of our forces have been reported. The successes of our forces in this direction have to be recognised by the official speakers of the AFU.

▪️ On the southern flank of #Bakhmut, heavy bloody battles are taking place near #Kleshcheyevka, the AFU is trying to occupy the heights near the settlement. The enemy is using the tactic of constant "meat assaults".

▪️ The shelling of the frontline regions, the #Kursk and #Belgorod regions has not stopped. The enemy fired 542 munitions at the DPR. Under fire #Gorlovka, #Yasinovataya, Yasinovataya district, #Donetsk, #Makeyevka, #Aleksandrovka, #Staromikhaylovka, #Yelenovka, #Volnovakha district. 7 civilians were wounded.
